Probably one of the worst rooms I've had in the last 15 years. Avoid. Dirty, cold, water only just warm and so noisy.

Although room was ready for a refresh, it was clean & comfortable.

For the money, £44, absolutely spot on.
Decor and communal areas need an update.
Free WiFi and parking.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, really they are the best thing about this hotel.
3.0 / 10.0
Friendly and helpful welcome and spacious room. However decor clearly lacked any recent investment and with lukewarm water and the promise of a plumber on the day I left, I felt at least the offer of a room change would have been offered ….unless the hot water deficiency was prevalent across the whole hotel.

Fine for a stop-over. Perhaps the owners should visit a Premier Inn or similar hotel to see that it is possible to have a clean, upgraded premises that is still affordable.

It wasn’t clear that this property was on the highway. Because we were coming through the the village we had to drive around and lose almost 40 minutes (additionally there were roadworks). Also we had to park the car on a very busy services station. If that had been visible on the bokking website we would have not booked it.

For a busy motorway hotel it is pretty good. Its basic but you get a decent bed, pillows are actually good, TV, tea/coffee, decent bathroom - pretty quiet - even for a room above reception. My car was broken down and take to the services - so really it was a godsend. Thanks

Although it was near the motorway it was quiet & we could not hear the traffic at night.
There was nothing to dislike.

Convenient for being a truckstop area

I was upset when I arrived at the hotel but the young receptionist was so very kind and compassionate with her warm words of understanding and offer of making a cup of tea. She was patient with me as I had misplaced my room door key and changed my room from ground floor to a first floor room as she knew I felt unsafe. I hope she receives some recognition from her supervisors as her customer service was above and beyond. The only negative about my experience was there was no shower gel in the bathroom so I had to use the hand wash but I guess that is a housekeeping issue.

Receptionists were helpful and polite. Room was comfortable and clean. Easy to access via westbound M25. Value for money.

Cheap and cheerful. Close enough to Gatwick. Check ahead for gate code if like us you approach from wrong direction. Easy access over the bridge if you have the code but 12 Mile detour if you don't.

The gentleman who was on the desk helped us with our booking over the phone and kindly looked after us on arrival even though later than expected, perfect place to stay after a delayed long flight at Gatwick. Cheap too !

It is a great bed and spacious room.
I have walking problems and the blue badge spaces are quite a distance from the hotel.

Noisy location at the service area on the motorway. Property condition and maintenance was average. Wifi is not secure. The good news is a friendly snd helpful staff. And 20 minutes from LGW airport.
6.0 / 10.0
Friendly, helpful staff but this property in the services was just grim. Very dated and rusting facilities. A man who was clearly high, was hanging about when we returned in the evening, very uncomfortable setting.
6.0 / 10.0
The property is really run down. The room door handle was falling off, the bathroom had soap stains, the carpet smelt of animals. The bed was ok and it’s fine for a cheap stay over night but really needs money spent on it. The pet policy of allowing animals in the room is problematic as the smells permeate the rooms.

The staff here were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The actual hotel was at a service station so could be quite noisy at times, but it definitely served its purpose for us personally. The actual things in the hotel were quite dated and old fashioned, the double bed was comfortable, however the double sofa bed was terrible and uncomfortably thin. The place was however clean, even tho it may of not ‘looked the part’ definitely a great stop off place if you need a quick break on your travels, but could not be used to ‘relax’ because of the noise and business of the place etc. Staff however couldn’t have been better, we had a problem with the toilet door and within 5 minutes they were there fixing it! Brill x
