Cooked English Breakfast was good, although the menu said with toast, we thought it would come with the food. Not having to cook it ourselves. The location was excellent.
There was no hot water at all. We couldn't shower when we got up in the morning. This was supposed to have been a special 50th Anniversary for us. Ruined the day. We paid £175 for the night. Just for a bed. Not good PR.

La vue, le confort , le charme du batiment vieux de 400 ans, et l'accueil sur place

The room was really comfy, the location was perfect we walked across the road to a fish restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was great and a big choice. Staff were all friendly and helpful. 5 Stars

Location , staff
Place could do with some TLC our room had chips and lumps out of the walls , stain marks on bath, this gave us the impression this was the norm , also dirty marks on our pillows and stains on carpets .

It’s a great location and the family rooms have great bunk beds and large bathrooms so it feels quite spacious. The breakfast was amazing and you could also walk out onto the beach with the children straight after via the back doors
Nothing

Beautiful room (ask for 26), great powerful shower, coffee machine and pods provided which is so rare in hotels and is such a bonus when you're a coffee snob!
Lovely views, friendly staff.
All three mornings at breakfast staff were great except filling up your coffee. They are such small cups that it's only a few mouthfuls but we had to keep asking to be topped up, nobody was going round refilling.
Very expensive for a February weekend stay but room was worth it. Saw the non sea view rooms and some of them looked very cramped and almost hostel-like.

The room was tastefully decorated and the balcony was beautiful with a wonderful view. The added extra touches in the room were good quality. Dressing gowns etc. breakfast was good and good selection. Reception staff were very helpful and cheerful as were all staff .
A short visit and nothing to dislike !!

Got a beautiful ocean view room for a great price despite booking quite last minute. The staff were very communicative and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and it was nice to see some vegan options. The location is excellent with a lovely pub downstairs overlooking the beach
I can’t think of anything

Wonderful view of the sea
Older property therefore bathroom a little old fashioned but all functioned well and the fluffy white big bath towel compensated ⭐️

I found this to be an exceptional hotel. The location is the best in Bournemouth, overlooking the beach with all the restaurants and shops etc either on the same street or very close. My room had a lovely sea view with a large bay window. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies were provided. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had a bath and a lively shower. There is no parking outside but I was able to drop off fairly easily and go to park. There is a 24 hr pay and display car park within 5 mins walk.
The hotel had a nice dining area and a bar. Breakfast was plentiful with ample choices and we were served by a friendly waiter who was fast and efficient and gave us a great smile every morning. Also the young lady on reception was very friendly, helpful and efficient.
There is no lift but you might expect that from a 3 star hotel and the receptionist offered assistance to carry our bags to the room.

Loved the location and the lady on reception was brilliant, really helpful and friendly.
The climb with luggage - we stayed on the second floor and for my 80 year old father, the stairs were very difficult

Brilliant location to explore Broadstairs, lovely views over Viking bay.
The bedroom had a sloping floor resulting in our feet being slightly higher than our heads at night.

Location was amazing, lovely view
Need to have more facilities for disabled visitors

Staff were very helpful, especially Charlotte on the main desk. Breakfast was also tasty.
The room was very warm and with street view. We were at the very top of the hotel with our dog.
Parking was in a pay and display car park which was only mentioned after the hotel was booked.
We paid £175 for the room and the rate we saw online for the same evening was £143.

Breakfast excellent
The worst bed I have ever slept in

Location is perfect, our room had a view overlooking the sea.
Room itself was bright and airy and bed was very comfortable.
Tea and coffee was well stocked.
Bathroom was clean and shower was good.
Reception was rarely manned during our stay.
The use of terrace outside our room was inhibited by 3 large wooden safety barriers protecting a section of the roof obviously under repair (this was not mentioned at check-in).
We were unable to get lunch at the hotel as they had stopped serving food (at 2pm) due to high numbers of orders and long waiting times.
Fortunately, The Pavillion, 5 minute walk away, was able to accommodate us and the food was fab.
Our room was comfortable, however the bathroom window did not open and the extract not very good.

Breakfast location excellent
Room bit small for the price but ok

Breakfast was excellent although no Kippers or Haddock options- got a little bit fed up with variations on eggs after 5 night stay. The buffet bar was excellent although the apples needed to be changed as they were very prune-like by end of stay. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble- this makes a massive difference. The position is amazing overlooking the beach- but don't bring a car as there is no car park- will come again but will use buses and trains- plenty of them.
No kippers on breakfast menu see above. I also found public areas a bit grubby in places- a few sticky seats, wallpaper peeling etc.. The downstairs men's toilet was like a pub toilet really- not very good. The room was also too hot at night. This was without any heating on in room- heat coming from the cupboard. It was noisy at night but we expected that on the main drag on a holiday weekend and we enjoyed the cultural aspects of the town anyway. But if you want it to be quiet- you should probably not come here during bank hols.

There’s a lot to like about this hotel. Firstly its location elevated above the beach sea view rooms have panoramic views of Viking bay. The staff were all very helpful and super friendly and we also enjoyed our evening meal in the bar where they had a singing duo playing to entertain the guests. The hotel is pet friendly which works well for us and our room was a spacious en-site with a table in the bay window to sit and enjoy the panoramic sea views and lovely sunrise.
its a lovely hotel but some of the room fixtures and fitting are now starting to look a little worn but even so, the rooms are clean stylish and spacious.

perfect location overlooking the bay, we had a superior top floor room with a bay window and amazing views. The room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we’ll be back again for sure!
we liked everything!
