Mooie en fijne B&B, maar let op welke kamer je huurt!

Geweldig ontbijt. Heel hartelijke ontvangst en service door Nick. Het hele huis was charmant, inclusief de aankleding en alle kleine details. Mooie locatie om het New Forest te verkennen.

De kamer (“sheep den”) zag er mooi uit maar beviel helaas niet best. Aan de straatkant, doorgaande weg dus non-stop lawaai. Op zolder; zelfs bij redelijk koel zomerweer al vrij warm. Door de schuine wanden moet je veel bukken, of je stoot je hoofd. Badkamer heel erg krap.

Very pleasant and helpful landlord with a nicely converted

Clean and comfy

We stayed in the loft area with restricted height in parts of the room but no obvious signs to warn us and we ended up knocking our head numerous times against the low slanting ceiling.

Good location. Clean and comfortable. Brilliant hosts. Excellent breakfast .

Marked down one small point as the rooms in the roof are quite restrictive, but next time would ask for a first floor room.

Very nice stay / very nice hosts / no hesitation in recommending Nick and Alison

We stayed at the property last week for 3 nights. Nick and his wife are excellent hosts, friendly / knowledgeable about the area / and very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - well presented / well cooked with enough choice to mix it up over a few days, and a pleasant dining room as well. The bedroom was well equipped with everything you needed and the bonus of a fan provided (not requested) when it was very hot outside - so very welcome. The bathroom is a little snug but well finished and again had every thing you needed. I would have no hesitation is staying again if in the area, and no hesitation in recommending Nick and Alison as your hosts.

Lovely BnB in Lyndhurst

Very nice room but was at front of property so there was some road noise. This didn’t affect us as we live on a main road. The toiletries were very good and nice tea/coffee/ hot chocolate tray replenished every day. Nick and Alison were great and chatty and gave some good information on area. Finally the breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast was the best freshly cooked too order and lovely fresh fruit The room was exceptional with the best shower experience I have ever had. During our stay temperature reached 30c and after a hot day out, on our return there was a fan in our room which was greatly appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Check out time was 10.30 am and we asked if we could stay a little longer, no problem was their response and we stayed until after midday. We are looking forward to staying at Lyndhurst House again

enthusiastic and knowledgable team who made our stay a brilliant one.

modern facilities, modern room with great bathroom and comfy bed. location worked well for us, with Lyndhurst centre being a very short walk away. Accessible car parking at the property. Team had great local knowledge and even provided us with a discount code for local restaurants. Couldn’t fault it!

limited hanging space but didn’t affect us too much.

Perfect location and fabulous breakfast

Had a lovely stay, very kind and thoughtful host, perfect location to access places in New forest. Have enjoyed a freshly prepared tasty breakfast!

Shower was a bit small but it wasn't an issue, also it is on a very busy noisy street but again not a problem for a couple of nights

Best breakfast in lyndhurst. Honestly, get breakfast included. Nick and Alison are gracious hosts, looked after us from start to finish. Would recommend to everyone.

Clean, modern, good location and great hosts

We very much enjoyed our stay and could not recommend more. The room was clean and modern and the bed very comfortable, same goes for the ensuite. Alison and Nick were very friendly and welcoming, also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave great advice on walks, pubs, restaurants etc. The breakfast was fantastic as well! In terms of location it could not be better, a short walk from the town centre where there are many pubs, cafes and restaurants and ideally located centrally in the New Forest with walking routes in the area or a short drive away. Overall it was excellent for a very reasonable price and would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.

it was exceptionally clean and nick the host was incredibly accommodating. so much so we didn’t want to leave. it was a five minute walk to town and a ten minute walk to the new forest. couldn’t ask for more

Really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!

Lovely room. Very clean and fresh and lovely decor. Extremely friendly owner and put a lot of effort in - like putting the champagne we had brought in the fridge, giving us wine glasses etc.

A door or thick curtain to separate the bathroom would be better Towels felt slightly weird almost like they were oily and didn’t dry brilliantly

Alison & Nick were friendly , helpful & such a lovely couple. All the rooms were clean & comfortable with a really good range of refreshments which were topped up regularly. The choices for breakfast were very good ( we would definitely recommend the full English ). The location is fantastic with a wide range of restaurants to choose from all within walking distance.
