Was only there for 30 mins before we checked out. The staff was blunt and unhelpful, the building and room were filthy and smelt terrible, the elevator felt like it could break down at any second, the room was tiny, bed was old and uncomfortable, but the reason we left is because the water didn’t run in our room. We went down to ask for a refund and they refused because we booked through booking.com. Terrible service will never go there again.

We were fine, but a person any larger than us would nt have been able to get on the shower - very narrow doorway!

Great value for money over all!

The location was great right in the center of the city. You get what you pay for! The reception staffs are so friendly the Indian tall young guy was super helpful so as Rangi and the Spanish lady. :) The bed linen doesn't smell really nice or fresh but its good for its price. :)

The room was dark. Heater of the room is a fan heater which makes noise when in use

Being in the city was great. Loved the original vintage lift. That was pretty cool. The cleaning staff were friendly.

From what the photos of the room looked like was quite different to what they were actually like. Photos make the rooms look bigger but they were actually quite small. The beds are on wheels and kept moving. We had a broken headboard in our room, some sorta old electrical plug was tapped up, definitely need more plug sockets, the shower pressure was awful and the room was cold. (Also heard that from other people that were staying there). But for cheap accommodation you get what you get.

Great little overnighter at bargain price

Triple room great for freinds going to events at vector great price friendly reception staff room clean and tidy great shower! and cheap overnight carparking what more could you want. My 3rd stay here will come again

Awesome cheap stay.

Great for what we wanted, cheap but comfy with everything we needed. Yes the room was small, expected that, yes the bathroom was small too, expected that. Shower was plenty big enough, great shower head. No complaints, definitely return for a budget stay. Perfect location to walk to cbd.

Parking was convenient and staff were efficient and made you feel safe at night by checking who was coming in and out of the hotel

Cold shower both days !!! I stayed there had to travel all the way back home to shower . Not very clean

It's a good budget hotel with central location. Available TV, WiFi, heater, fan, hair dryer, shower, tablet with hot water pot, tea and milk. All worked. Room service was kind.

(1) They built a dreary condo on the lawn in front of the hotel, so surrounding is far more grey than the booking.com picture, and hotel is a bit hard to find. (2) No breakfast. (3) Few sockets in the room.

We have stayed here before (in the same room even, lol), cant beat the value for money.

Being in such a central location was great for us as we were going to several appointments and also the Zoo. The room was fine and the beds comfortable enough for a one night stay. The building is old but that adds to the character and quirkiness of the hotel, we like it. The staff are super friendly and helpful and having onsite parking made life a lot easier even if we did have to pay for that and some of the parks posed an interesting challenge to get and out of, lol.

There was a lot of banging and noise coming from the floor above which kept us all awake for a while. Would have liked a few more tea & coffee type options (but not a deal breaker). The restaurant was closed unfortunately otherwise we would've eaten there as well.

Great value for money

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, enough space for 2. Coffee available in room (with milk!) Shampoo, soap and towels includes. Easy to get to by bus, taxi, etc. Would def stay here again!

Value for money

Simple things like a shower caddy would be useful. Instead I put the soap on top of the rail above the shower and found other people’s old soap pieces up there. The shower was great on the first morning but temperature kept changing on the second morning for some reason.
