Overall met our requirements and expectations and would be happy to stay there again on future occas

Staff response to our complaint relating to our in house meal order. Very apologetic and given full refund plus a free breakfast.

In house meal. Told to expect a 40 minute wait when ordered but took approximately 75 minutes. Meal cold when delivered with only one set of utensils for two meals. Told that a second set would be brought to our room they never arrived. Really disappointing.

I am old fashioned, my husband and I travelled a lot in NZ and overseas before covid

The staff were very pleasant, and the room was adequate

I am elderly I would have liked some help getting to my room and I am not very good at using my phone to access information. I would have preferred a booklet as there used to be. The black bottle of handwash in the ensuite reminded me of the heavy duty handwash the mechanics at the garage use.

Great in Greenlane

Despite many negative reviews of other Ibis locations because of tiny room size, I was pleasantly surprised by the perfectly adequate room size and comfort. The location of the hotel is so convenient - a 2 min walk to the train station. This is a real bonus.

The extremely loud door shutting and opening mechanisms on the doors - I lost a lit of sleep due to the opening and shutting crashing noise of other guests coming and going in the vicinity of my room

Great enjoyable stay

Staff were excellent , knowledgeable of Auckland , so helpful every time we saw each person at hotel. Ayden was so helpful showing us how to put apps on our mobiles ( we are the older generation) and he offered help & advice , as did the other staff who were so warm & friendly. We will be back & stay at Ibis / Novotel Elerslie again, we stayed at both seperate dates

The staff were amazing and helpful, good facilities, and clear instructions to our room. I'm 6ft 2 and was very comfortable in the shower a major plus for me

Suited my needs

I couldn't park close to the venue. I ended up quite far away and as a single women who need to leave at 4.50am I was concerned walking to my car.

room service was bad, nothing was replaced after the rm was cleaned , reception never answered calls , parking was shocking, there was check in the car park as cars were parked all over the place blocking other cars to get in or out . food service was below average for the price . bathroom didn’t have adequate ventilation. room was either to cold or to hot

The room, small, no view looked into office block, noisy aircon, toilet cistern sticking, insufficient towels, parking on grounds extra that was premium to find and not secure

The rooms were compact and suitable for an overnight business trip. Restaurant and Bar on site useful.

The bathroom was very compact. We found the bar staff could benefit from additional customer service training

The dinner menu said open till 11pm. However, it closed at 10. Made me pay twice and refunded on check out. Lift not working
