Te kort geslapen door de slechte verduistering. We waren op doorreis dus dat was niet prettig

Gemütlich, Familienzimmer groß und mit Küche, einfache Einrichtung

Die Lage ist gut, quasi in der Innenstadt, das "Familienzimmer", in dem wir untergebracht waren, ist überraschend geräumig, großes Bett, große Couch, viel Platz, sogar eine richtige Küche gehört dazu. Das Personal war freundlich (und nur morgens vor Ort). Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft (abgesehen von der Größe und dem Luxus einer Küche) eher einfach, aber wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen.

Die Küche war praktisch, aber Geschirr/Besteck ist eher knapp vorhanden, die Duschwände fallen auseinander, wenn man nicht aufpasst (aber immerhin gibt es welche, so etwas fehlt bei vielen schickeren Hotels ganz), die Stehlampen haben nicht funktioniert, das Badfenster schließt nicht richtig, Tisch recht wackelig. Die Einrichtung ist schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht gerade geschmackvoll - Kitsch und Trödel wie zufällig zusammengewürfelt. Ist aber auch witzig - wir haben den Aufenthalt trotzdem genossen.

Der Aufenthalt konnte nicht stattfinden und wir hatten erhelbiche ( 2 1/2 fache ) Zusatzkosten für d

wir standen vor verschlossenen Türen und konnten nicht im Hotel Knöpel übernachten, haben aber bisher keine Rückerstattung erhalten

Nice room - with a bad mattress

The hotel is in walking distance to Wismar’s nice market square. Check-in is easy via key-code and key safe.

Unfortunately my bed (room no.8, left bed) had a worn out mattress, which made a good night’s sleep impossible. Then a nice location and a spacious room does not help much ...

Large, comfortable room. TV with Netflix Kuhlschrank. Free parking.

Poor lighting, curtains didn't close, hunting lodge style.

Nice enough, but VERY cold!

Easy to access. Check-in worked well. Breakfast was ample and good. Building is charming and old, and the location is close to old town. Room and hotel was generally clean, but somewhat run-down and worn.

The entire hotel was very cold.. Our room was not much more than 15 degrees C and possibly less - I know this because I've kept my own house at 15 degrees, so I know how it feels and how much clothes to wear. We basically kept our clothes on in bed and didn't get out until it was time for breakfast - we could have used more than one extra blanket.

Location, room size, comfortable beds, peaceful

Directions were a little mixed up how to enter and where to get the room key . Having to bring up your luggage to the 2nd floor. There is no elevator and nobody around to help. The 2 young girls in charge of the breakfast room. Had to go to the kitchen to find them and ask for coffee. No good morning, no smile. I got the message they did not like their work.

Well-appointed bright family room

The family room was big, with a bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living room and entrance hall. The hotel itself was in a beautiful building and I had a good night sleep every time.

The WIFI in the family room was spotty in all parts of the room. I had the best coverage on the landing by the staircase.

Location was good. Waited one hour for someone to show up and to open the door. However, had to wait until a customer to let us in. Didn’t get a door code or room number until 2 Ukrainian cleaners helped us get in touch with the staff. Thank you ladies. Didn’t see a staff member until the next day to get paid.

I received no information about getting a code for door and room. The information I finally got (email) was only in German after contacting The hotel via Bookings.com. I sent an SMS - no reply. Tried calling 3 times but only disconnected.

good hotel but the staff service could be improved

the hotel is very nice and clean, comfy beds and ok bathroom

I didn’t like the fact that there were no lockers in the hotel to leave the luggage and there was no possibility of leaving the bags for some hours after the checkouts ( this is a service provided by most of the hotels)

Very good

Large clean room. Comfortable bed. Shower had great water pressure. Lots of toiletries offered (don't worry, I didn't steal any of them, I just appreciate the selection).

Small note: I noticed that the door did little to keep out any noise. I had earplugs with me so it didn't bother me at all.

Pleasant

Friendly staff, close to the historic center, nice atmosphere.

The window did not close properly and the hotel is located on a street with heavy traffic. I traveled for work and had to be fresh the next morning, but I only got one hour of sleep. Would have been better off sleeping in my own bed and getting up at 3 am to get to my destination.

Passable

The staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine with a choice of items.

The entire facility seemed partly run down, the stairway and carpet on the first landing were somewhat dirty and our shower had quite a bit of black in it. Otherwise the room was clean, however, there were no thick drapes or shades to keep the light out.

Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Good communication.

Poor parking capabilities. The cars must park very narrow in the backyard of the hotel. I got a scratch from another driver and he didn't even bothered to tell it. The staff promised to contact him but I got no answer. The parking place is not secured.
