Most amazing view of snowy mountains, beautiful valley below, listening to and watching avalanches in the distance, the charming town of Mürren complete with a light sprinkling of snow before bed. Friendly, helpful staff. It was the best birthday ever as we were greeted for our dinner reservation with complimentary champagne, confetti, & Happy Birthday napkins. Truly a magical experience!

Proximity to train, early breakfast
Priceline mislead us during booking, although we clearly stated and included our 2 kids during booking process, hotel charged us extra 100 CHF for kids. $400 for a night at 3 start hotel, not worth the price, no pool, no sauna, no 24/7 front-desk.

The staff at the hotel and rest were absolutely Fabulous. The quality of the food and drinks were great the hotel rest
we got lucky the construction workers took off a few days when we were staying at the hotel. They started working the morning we checked out. It would have been a bad experience we had construction going on all day.

We have stayed here before and we love the hotel especially having a balcony and spectacular view.
Staff were very accommodating. The hotel had warned us that the hotel was in off season shut down. They invited us to stay anyway.
They made it as comfortable as possible in the circumstances.
All good

Stunning location.
The family room we stayed in had very dated decor and no view. Extremely overpriced… considering there is no view from the room and everything in the room is so old.
4.3
The view from our balcony was stunning.
Spa is free, but we don't have time for it.
It would be nice if coffee machine or water boiler is provided.

Wonderful, amazing, tremendous views of Alps. And great location for day trips to mounts and towns, including Gimmelwald. Nice helpful staff at desk and restaurant.
When we arrived in October 2022, there was a construction site right next to hotel, right outside fence of hotel outdoor restaurant seating. This construction was not reported by hotel to us prospective guests. Noise from construction during day of thumps and engine revving detracted a bit from majesty of scene but it was not too loud when we were there and stopped by 1800 hours. Construction may go on for a year, I heard.

1) it's near to the gondola
2) nice restaurant view of the mountains
3) the coffee during braekfast
4) breakfast options were simple and basic but it was good enough
1) There were no family room facing the mountains. 2) There were no simple facilities like a kettle & tea/coffess in the room. Esp in such cold weather a kettle would really be great for guests to make hot drinks at whatever odd hours when we are in the room and are simply too tired to go out. 3) The lift was quite smelly 4)the outside area was under construction

The beds and pillows were comfortable. Restaurant staff was friendly.
Placed in a room without a view when booked for a view. Restaurant was overpriced.

The location and the breakfast
Even though I booked for entire family together ...we had to sleep in two separate rooms on our entire stay (2 nights)

Pretty hotel with cute room and friendly front desk staff. The breakfast was very nice and the woman who worked there for breakfast was great - she was nice and friendly and even remembered our preferred drinks every morning! The location was good. At the far end of town from the train station, but close to the Schilthorn cable car.
We ate at the restaurant one night and the service was VERY slow and not very friendly. It took us a very long time to get our check. When we finally managed to wave them over and ask for it the waitress acted annoyed and then did not bring it for another 15 minutes. Another woman there was having the same problem, and her husband had given up and gone to the room, leaving her to wait for it. We were the last two tables and the women were much more interested in getting their glasses set up for the next day and etc than waiting on anyone, even though they were within sight the whole time. Some restaurants let you pay your bill online whenever you want, and I highly recommend that for this hotel. Either that or convince their very friendly and efficient breakfast lady to work nights.
4.3
Grandious view from the restaurant/breakfast room/balcony. Healthy breakfast, good restaurant for evening meals. Close proximity to gondel lift. Close access to hiking paths. Comfortable room, sufficient and clean bathroom.

The views of the mountains from the balcony were incredible! We were lucky enough to experience both a thunderstorm and a sunny day. Would stay here again!

it was next to Schilthorn cable car so easy to walk to with luggage.
there was construction going on right next to hotel and will continue until 2026. They’re putting in a new cable car. It was so noisy took away the peacefulness and ambience of Murren. In addition, our next door room was chain smoking out in the balcony which went straight over to our balcony and room.
After 6 pm, there is no front staff reception so if you needed any help you’re out of luck.

staff lovely, rooms tastefully decorated, views incredible
currently there is a lot of construction going on right next door. once inside the hotel I didn’t hear any noise but it’s an eye sore

Such a great view!

The location was wonderful, beautiful Swiss mountain village and stunning view s and walking distance to cable car station
It lacked a bar area to sit in and chat, but drinks were served in dining room and outside
