Murren is a “must do!”

Love the location, just steps from the train station. Great views and good food. Staff was very accommodating and allowed us to drop our bags early so we could go hiking. Stay more than one night, you will need the time to really enjoy the area.

Room was small. We had requested twin beds and had to rearrange furniture to separate the beds.

Convenient, quiet, budget-friendly, helpful—really top notch! Would definitely stay again!

Our family of 5 booked two rooms—a 3 person room and a 2 person room. The ions are exactly as pictured. They offered great storage, small sitting space, windows outside (the 3 room had a little balcony with an AMAZING view!). Beds were AMAZING…stayed in 5 places on our trip thru Europe, and these were by far the best! The staff downstairs were VERY helpful, and knowledgeable. They recognized us after we checked in and took care of anything we asked for. It was nice having an included breakfast with great options (even for us Americans!). Rooms were very lodge-like in nature, and it is located across the street from the train station, which was SUPER convenient in this town where you have to walk everywhere! Great “budget-friendly” option in Murren!

Rooms were VERY tiny, but efficient in the use of space.

Gorgeous view of stunning mountains from our room. Nice location. Right across from train station but the train was in maintenance in May so not running so it was quiet. We had to take the gondola from Stechelberg to Mürren which was a cost but cool experience. Comfortable room with fun decoration. Slept well. Friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Good experience. Recommend.

I would remove the cardboard donation box outside our room. A bit tacky.

Delightful Stay in Murren

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and straightforward. The breakfast was wonderful! The guesthouse is located right next to the Lauterbrunnen-Mürren cable car.

Im Gegensatz zu den abgebildeten Zimmern hatten wir ein unrenoviertes Zimmer mit dreckigem Teppich und ohne Blick. Weder auf Bildern noch in der Beschreibung wird erkenntlich, dass ein Großteil der Zimmee nciht renoviert ist. Das ist per se kein großes Problem. Aber dafür ist der Preis einfach (viel) zu hoch. Akzeptabel wäre es für mein Empfinden, die unrenovierten Zimmer deutlich günstiger zu vermieten.

We just love this place!

Extremely clean and snug and comfortable. The rooms are modern but with a cute, chill vibe. Everything well laid out: a light and outlet by every bed, lots of hooks to hang coats and hats, cushions for the balcony chairs, a little tray for muddy hiking shoes right outside the door. The staff is incredibly nice. And having local Schwarzmönch beer on tap right downstairs at the bar is a great bonus! 😋

It's quiet at night, but noise from the train station starts early (6am-ish). So if you're a light sleeper, close your window or get up early for hiking!

Murren is a beautiful village and Eiger Guesthouse offers great value for money

Located conveniently vlose to station. Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate. Room was large and comfortable with a balcony offering a good view of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. The cost of this hotel was quite modest and I would rate it very highly as value for money.

Small hotel with all we need

Perfect room for four, even if 4 adults. A lot of space and nice touch around the room. Big bathroom and enough space for everyone and everything. We enjoy also the dinner and the breakfast.

We enjoyed staying here.

The room was fantastic. The view was great. My children loved the bunkbeds.

Not a problem of the hotel but didn't like that the Tram was not working.

The location!!!!! And the view. Room adorable for family. Had family suite with bunk beds for kids. super cute. Comfortable.

Tight stairs to upper floors. Not a big deal unless have health issues.

very recommended. there was a nice view right outside our room. we tried authentic food on dinner and it was delicious. same also with free breakfast, they serve with fresh and delicious foods. staffs were also very accomodating and friendly.

Nice hotel with great view from the room (mountain view)

Great location and service. The Restaurant and the room decoration are great.

Unfortunately the train station was under reconstruction and we need to reach the hotel by Gimmelwald via gondola. There is no elevator and you need to carry the load by yourself via the stair.

Good value with good location in Mürren.

Across the street from Mürren BLM. 8-10 minute walk to gondolas for Shilthorn, Berg, Gimmelwald, and Schilthornbahn. Restaurant at hotel was one of few still open past 6pm in Mid October! Good food, wine, and beer selection. Staff at reception/restaurant were very good and attentive.

No elevator, so room at 4th floor was a healthy climb with luggage. Shower small. But these are not real complaints, just FYI. I survived!
