Top Hotel für Sightseeing in Budapest

Das Hotel liegt sehr praktisch am der Donau mit direktem Blick auf das Parlament. Die öffentliche Anbindung ist auch top. Dazu sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück und sehr ruhige und geräumige Zimmer.

All in all had a pleasant stay

Liked were it was situated, easy to get to from the train station. Very clean, helpful staff, nice shower

Had high expectations, but was less than impressed

Beautiful location and very quiet! Breakfast was excellent. Hotel lobby was very modern. Rooms were decent size

One of the rooms had bad plumbing from the shower. Although they tried to fix it, it was a temporary fix and after a few hours, it broke again. A/C was not operating correctly, Budapest was experiencing hot weather and the rooms felt hot as well. Bathrooms need some updating as they look old. Had an issue regarding a payment where I was charged an extra 200euro for our stay. After numerous emails, calls and requests with booking representatives and hotel staff, I got my money back after a month.

Ár-érték arányban nem a legjobb választás.

Nagyon jó helyen található a szálloda, a parkolás ugyan plusz költség ellenében, de megoldott. Nagyon szűk a parkoló, liftes rendszerrel működik, külön személyzet segítségével, akik -esetünkben- nem túl lelkesen "segítettek". A szoba tágas, az ágy abszolút kényelmes, a reggeli választéka bőséges és jó minőségű. A recepción dolgozók és a felszolgálók kedvesek, segítőkészek.

A szobánk minősége... lelakottnak mondanánk, koszos, kávéfoltos padlószőnyeg, kopottas belső tér, nehezen záródó fürdőszoba ajtó, kopott wc, összességében a szálloda hátsó részében található szobánkra ráférne egy felújítás. A minibár üres volt, amit egy 4 csillagos szállodában nem nagyon értettünk.

The service was disappointing, the information about the hotel is misleading

The only good things about the hotel are the fast check-in experience and the breakfast staff. The breakfast was almost the same every day but with a wide selection and the staff was very efficient and pleasant.

The stay at the hotel was very disappointing. First of all, we discovered that the mini bar in the rooms has been disconnected for about 4 years, even though it appears as part of the room facilities in the room description. I would like to point out that for me this was an important part of deciding which hotel to choose to stay in. If I had known that there was no active mini bar, I would not have chosen this hotel. I arrived with 2 children and I really needed a mini bar. The staff at the hotel refused to turn on the refrigerator, claiming that since the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, the refrigerators had been disconnected and would not be connected. No solution was given to me and it is a matter of misleading the consumer which caused us heartache and wasted time during the vacation we were so looking forward to. We stayed in a suite with a view to the parliament. The 2 rooms had cobwebs with spiders behind the curtain and we had to ask twice for them to come clean. The lighting in the closet and bathroom was very dim and you could barely see anything. We had to ask them to come and change the lamps. And to end the bitter, before leaving I went to the reception at 7 pm and announced that we were expected to leave early in the morning and I asked that they prepare breakfast for us to take away (breakfast we paid for in advance). The guy at the reception said there was no problem, he asked me what the room number was and I thought everything was fine. I even recommended to our friends who were staying with us at the hotel to contact the reception and ask them to prepare breakfast for them as well, and so they did. Amazingly, early in the morning during check-out it turned out to me that our friends had prepared breakfast and we had not. The receptionist didn't even offer us a bun and a box of juice for the kids. The service was disappointing, the information about the hotel is misleading

Schönes Hotel, leider schlechte Erfahrung

Der Ort selber und die Aussicht. Nettes personal beim Empfang, aber schlechter Wagenmeister für das Auto.

Mein Auto wurde beim einparkieren in die Tiefgarage beschädigt. Leider habe ich es erst gemerkt, als ich beim Check out selber rausfahren musste, weil der Wagenmeister zu spät kam. Beim verlassen des Autolift, kam meine Anhängerkupplung an der Bordsteinkante an. Ich dachte dann, naja ist die Anhängerkupplung die verträgt viel. Beim Tanken, sah ich aber das mein Kotflügel vorne Links ausgerissen war. Ich konnte es dann mit Tape selber reparieren, trotzdem war es gefährlich, weil eine Schraube locker war, vor dem linken Vorderrad. Das hätte auch zu einem schweren Unfall führen können. Wäre es angesprochen worden, wäre es mit einem Schraubenschlüssel, innerhalb von fünf Minuten repariert gewesen.

Great views of the parliament building.

Great location with an amazing view of the parliament building. Juliet balcony to get the best photos. Room was large and comfortable.

Dissapointing

Door doesn't shut properly or securely. Shower is broken and faces wall. You must hold it to shower. Used items in tea and coffee. Milk one day but not the next. Air Conditioning broken cannot adjust. No spare blanket. Had to use 2 Donna's as so cold. Two beds not 1 as booked. Restaurant and breakfast atrium nice as are views but I would not stay here again.

Ok. Not meet the expectation.

Was a normal hotel, clean and nice room

The view. We asked in email and also when we arrived that we need a nice view, because this was the reason why we chose them. But was a room at the 3th floor without balcony in the end of the hotel, so we didn’t had the nice view to the parliament.

Nice hotel in central location

The hotel is right on the Danube bank with direct view to the parliament. Unfortunately, we did not receive a room with a view. The room is very spacious, nicely decorated with design touch. Breakfast ok.

We were drawn back by the fact that the hotel does not indicate upon reservation that parking on the property costs 20 Eur/night, with almost no other option to park. Also, we chose the hotel considering its proximity to the Chain Bridge, so that crossing to Pest would be easy, but the bridge is currently closed for pedestrians, which is quite a set back. The toilet in the bathroom was leaking quite heavily.

The location is great - easy access to both Buda and Pest. The restaurant on site was also very good.

Bathroom sink reminded me of those steel sinks they have in airplanes - not exactly a right fit for a 4-star hotel.
