What I liked the most was the location, next to the village of San Pantaleo, where you can have the most incredible view of the mountains, nice bars and restaurants, perfect environment to have a drink. The pool in the hotel was also ok, but no service available. The gardens were well treated. The views in the restaurants of the hotel were nice. The cleanness in the rooms were impeccable.
As I said above, the hotel is ok, but the service is not a five star hotel at all (except by the ladies who clean your room). I explained this to the manager (she is a nice and responsible person, who totally understood my concern). What I was disappointment the most was (i) no service in the pool (I had to go to the reception to ask drinks every time that I used the pool); (ii) the acoustic in my room was the worse I had experience in my life (I heard the neighbors all night and they did also hear me as I talked with them later (!), but I believe the owner of the hotel saved money with the architecture who planned those rooms...this was totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful views of the mountains and sea

Unbelievable seclusion and relaxation. Couldn't fault the setting, the views and the quality of the staff, service, food and wine. Perfect for a honeymoon!
Food and drink prices are very high (albeit the quality is also very high!), but without many other options nearby, would only recommend shortish stays. Worth hiring a car!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful! It was our anniversary so we received a bottle of Prosecco on arrival and an anniversary cake on our final night, which was a really lovely touch.
The communal areas - the pool, the reception and the lounge - are beautiful and were lovely spaces to relax. Both restaurants were great, with delicious food, and the Michelin starred restaurant in particular was exceptional.
Our room felt a little dated (the air con was old and smelt bad, the TV was old and had no English channels) and the bathroom felt a little grubby, with bits of mould growing and slugs coming in every night.
Considering the slightly lower-quality bedroom, prices at the hotel felt high. We paid about €65 for a sandwich, a portion of chips and two drinks for lunch one day. Travelling anywhere outside of the hotel is also extremely expensive, as you have to get a hotel-booked private taxi - we went out for dinner on our second day and the round-trip cost us €210, so we didn’t leave the hotel for the rest of our stay as a result!

Called our room a suite and it wasn't.t
If we were getting what we expected based on what we thought it would have been OK
Resturant and bar totally over priced.
We only had dinner once and used the bar once when we seen silly prices

Very pretty location in the countryside. The property is well designed and beautifully decorated with amazing views over the coast. Food is exceptional in the Michelin restaurant and staff were attentive and friendly and very professional, every effort made to make you feel at home.
The property is quite remote and so can feel a little cut off which could be both a plus and minus. The remoteness is an issue to the lack of a lot of food choice. The room was very dark and poorly designed compared to the public rooms. No convenient place to do make up and plug in hairdryer for a mirror. Food and drink we found very expensive.

Gorgeous property set in the hills near Olbia, impeccable service, delicious food. Everything was fantastic
The property itself was perfect so no complaints. Our GPS took us up a back road to the hotel which was very rough and largely unpaved. It would have been helpful to know this in advance so we could have found the ‘main’ route to the property

Good welcome, excellent housekeeping, nice location. Easy to get to from airport and to travel to and from areas of interest and nice beaches nearby.
Breakfast service. Expected more than a very ordiinary buffet, staff could do better, i.e.,when seating guests, ask whether guests would like tea or coffee, rather than the guest having to get their attention and request same.
Very average room (see image of poor wall repair), no fly screens. Heard every word of conversations from room next door. Nothing to really entice guests to remain in the property in the evening. Most seemed to dine in local village restaurants

Petra Segreta is perfection! It is stunning and serene. The staff are outstanding. The food - especially in the gourmet dinning area is absolutely beautiful.

Magical place, classy, the location is secluded which was exactly what we were looking for , excellent food, breathtaking view, such a serene atmosphere! but what made it for us was the exceptional staff, so friendly, knowledgeable welcoming and accommodating, beyond our expectations. thank you so much!
The spa was not as pempering as I would expect from such a place, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, other than that, everything was perfect.

Incredibly beautiful hotel, just stunning views. Lots of lovely places to sit and relax and look at the mountains. Staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly, the pool was wonderful and the massages we had were so relaxing. We loved the sauna and steam room, and could have spent all day in there! Our favourite moments were sitting on the beautiful, comfortable sofas with a glass of wine and watching the sun set. It was also very quiet - just no noise at all except for birds, and such a small amount of guests, it almost always felt peaceful and relaxing. The food was very good - the main restaurant is very special and a real treat. The pizzas at the other bistro restaurant are also incredible. All in all, a very beautiful place to spend a few days.
Considering the cost, the rooms are a little basic, and our terrace looked out onto a stone wall with a huge fan heater bracketed to the wall. Not that picturesque! Food and drinks are madly expensive - an Ichnusa beer which you can get anywhere on the island for 2 euros, cost 8. We wanted to walk into the nearby town (San Pantaleo) and were told it was impossible to do; it's not- it's a 20 minute walk, with an incline and sometimes cars pass you (slowly). Maybe not for the infirm but for anyone else who doesn't want to pay 80euros for a ten minute car-ride (which is what they offer!), it's 100% do-able. I think once you've paid the decent sum we did for the room, it shouldn't then cost the same again just to be there, especially since it's a challenge to leave the resort and eat elsewhere.

Nice clean rustic style rooms.
Great staff.
Great views.
Extortionate costs for extras and poor food choice.
Has one lovely Michelin star restaurant, which is open on evenings. Other option to eat is the bistro that has a limited menu and you have to eat inside in a small contained room. No outside dining or by the pool.
Room service is €18 to have food taken to room.
Hotel is a good 35 minutes walk from nearest town, which is beautiful and has many restaurants. Sadly the owners of the hotel charges you €40 per taxi to the town, which is a 5 minute drive. 2.3KM. So €80 per return to the nearby town. This is one of the most expensive cab rides in Europe. A simple solution of bikes would help guests feel less ripped off. The staff were embarrassed to tell us these prices and the lack of options to explore the area.
Breakfast came with our room and was limited. To have eggs cost an extra €12. You could not sit outside again… just inside a dining room.
We were charged €20 for 2 coffees because we were late to breakfast. Again, an attitude I would expect from this hotel.
I even overheard other guests leaving the hotel early to eat at the airport before heading home, which is due to the lack of choice and ability to even eat outside on your holiday. Totally bizarre.
Not worth the money.

Beautiful place and although it was full it didn't seem crowded at all. The meals at dinner were very good and in the restaurant they were exceptional!! The Chef's choice 6 course dinner was absolutely amazing !! Definitely Michelin star food!!
Breakfast was poor. A very small buffet and not at all interesting. Also if there was nice fruit you had to get there in the first half hour or it was gone and replaced by boring apples if at all.
Also to have paid this much money to stay and then to have so many things charged extra really grated. A drink of water at the pool. 5 euros! Poached eggs for breakfast 12 euros. Etc! We didn't explore the spa as we were certain that it would be charged extra. This is a very expensive place and this did not give a good feel
