Perfect for exploring Salisbury

Staff were so helpful and all very friendly. The huge bed was very comfortable and the air con meant we could have the room just as we wanted it. Complimentary drinks in the room fridge were lovely, hotel breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and the location was perfect for exploring Salisbury.

It was a shame that the hotel was unable to serve food on Sunday night due to staff shortages. We had eaten roast elsewhere in the afternoon so weren’t starving but maybe it would be a good idea for the hotel bar to stock a few snacks such as crisps and nuts etc as we would Have enjoyed something with our evening drinks.

An acceptable place to stay for a night or two. Good location for the shops and the cathedral.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location was very convenient.

No lift (although we were aware of that). Dining area lacked atmosphere. No free parking or reduced rates for hotel guests even for blue badge holders.

Changes to public area of hotel are poor, and also in need of decoration.

Breakfast area was very relaxing in the old days , but now very caf'e style, like McDonalds! The room mused was the old bar area thus cutting down the seating for drinks.

Ok but a little disappointed with the late introduction of a parking fee

Paying for car parking, we have stayed twice before and not been imposed with a charge also this was not raised in the booking cost! Not happy about this later introduction and request!

The central location outweighed all the other disadvantages - just!

This is never a four star hotel! There was no proper evening meal and only a very limited bar menu. It seems nobody eats there in the evening. The public areas have no atmosphere at all. Basically it is just a bed and breakfast hotel.

Excellent Stay in Salisbury

Very nice spacious room and bathroom. Staff very friendly. Excellent central location.

Air conditioning didn't work very well so the room was a bit stuffy as the weather was very hot.

Great Hotel.

Lovely dog friendly hotel. Staff were so helpful and kind and loved our dog. Our room was big, clean and modern and it's always nice to be welcomed with coffee, biscuits and a friendly letter in the room on arrival. Fantastic town and park location.

I wish we had stayed longer.

Disappointing

The location was ideal to explore the city. The manager dealt with my complaint quickly, but a small discount did not relieve our dissatisfaction with the room.

The Executive room was not as described and nothing like the pictures shown on the website. The hotel is tired and in need of a good renovation.
