It was OK and selected for cheapness

Quiet

Two points 1. I am a lady travelling alone, I always appreciate being put on the second floor or above, it makes me feel safer, the reception is next to a busy bar, the receptionist shouted out my room number, I would have appreciated more discretion. 2. In the rooms all lights are linked, it would have been nice to be able to have a side lamp or reading lamp on without having the overhead light

Beautiful hotel , great facilities, definitely will stay again

The tea/coffee hot chocolate biscuits was a lovely touch, Although it wasn’t replenished on day 2 of our stay which was a little disappointing..

There was some mould on the tiles in the bathroom which just needed a touch of mould & mildew treatment

Very pleasant staff, good stay I will definitely return now I know where it is?

Bed was slightly lumpy and getting towards the end of its life so suspect one or two more + rooms may have the same but it was manageable- double bed had a slight dip in the middle

Property was ok however when you come off the dual carriageway signs were a bit vague and I went into the back entrance first before I realised I needed to go out and back into the correct car park

A very cosy and friendly stay.

The reception, bar and breakfast team were exceptional, really helpful and welcoming. I made a mistake on my booking that caused a couple of re-occurring issues for them that they were able to resolve without fuss or concern. It's comfortable and friendly and I loved the retro holiday inn feel. Nice breakfast and relaxed lounge.

It can look a bit tired from the outside on a grey day, but don't be put off.

Beds were comfy but not worth the £94 a night plus you had to pay £12 each if you want breakfast.

Staff lovely, dining room nice and room clean

It needed updating. Bathroom sink had been broken and siliconed up, ceiling had been patched up and tv had dodgy tv aerial and could only get one channel

Rules are rules I suppose but … maybe be a bit more accommodating with a very regular patron of the hotel . It was 13-55

I stay at the property regularly due to the location . I try to get over most weekends so that I can visit my sick mother .

You can’t check in before 3pm without paying extra . I travel to the hotel on my return from a 4-30 am delivery I make to Glasgow which I operate every Saturday I only had a toiletries bag to check in . I was unhappy you gave me two single beds shoved together . I have complained about this previously

Wouldn’t not stay again

Fantastic shower facilities

Room was unclean upon arrival …crisps left on the floor from previous people, dirty bedding, WiFi didn’t work, no coffee pods for facilities.

Good value for money

Good value English breakfast. Room was fine, quiet and a good night's sleep

As it was not busy being able to book in earlier without paying extra would have been beneficial.

Sadly lacking on this occasion.

Location & breakfast was what I needed. Staff were pleasant & friendly. Communal areas were clean and well presented and the food was good.

No hairdryer in drawer despite sign. TV remote battery cover missing, batteries had been secured with tape. Cracked trunking for cabling. Exposed power connector. Bed had been turned around & had metal securing bars exposed. Bulb was insecure light didn’t work initially & this was the cause. Missing coat hangers. Heating had been turned off & no key was available to turn it on. Sink was cracked. Bathroom door had a poor attempt to repair damage. Bath panel was cracked. Bathroom mirrors were looking ‘tired’ and showed signs of age.

I needed a hotel for 1 night in readiness for the following day, the Everglades Park fitted my needs

Breakfast was fine. the room for a short stay was all that was needed. bed was adequate.

Close to where needed to be, the cooked breakfast was lovely and hot,friday cooked to order. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very very dated, no air conditioning, sat night went outside and loads of kids hanging by the door as a prom taking place, alot of screaming and revving of cars, couldnt sit outside for a drink.

Not close to amenities but there are nice pubs and restaurants within a mile. Ring O Bells pub is excellent

Carpets tired which made the room seem dirty. Furniture throughout the hotel very dated and tired, Staff wouldn't give me a decent wine glass to take to the room as in their words "they won't come back" which I found highly offensive

Superb

Reception staff made us very welcome and attended to our needs. Housekeeping were pleasant and obliging. Breakfast staff also were pleasant and helpful.

Preferred freshly cooked breakfast to the buffet style which wasnt as fresh and hot

Waste of hard earned money, ruined what was a wonderful 75th bday at the races for the father inlaw

Breakfast was good, the one member of staff on breakfast was polite and helpful

3 members of staff were very rude, one aggressively/ threateningly chased me up some stairs (David) telling me to pay for my room (one member of staff had already tried 3 times but their machine was faulty, so was asked to do it on checkout) Got my husband and he soon played nice- idiot! Shower leaked, hard beds, my father in law was kept awake by people playing in the hallway at 1.30am, tv wasn’t working, key cards not working on rooms, lamp hanging off the wall but worst of all the balconette nearly caved in when stepped on it, thankfully it wasnt my 2 year old. We weren’t the only ones complaining. Needs a staff overhaul!
