Very quick service, nice drinks selection, food was good

Great place to stay as i was visiting Warrington for work. Food was really good, plenty of space to park and a nice size room.

Nice sit down breakfast, helpful & very pleasant staff
2.0
Have to say staff & food good, breakfast is basic but good but im afraid this is a tired hotel One thing that should be good is the bed. This was an aged broken divan base top section, it was so badly dipped it was like a hammock.. so much, you could see the mattress dipping before sitting on it so it had been there for quite some time.
Although online there were suites available online was refused a room change, said they were fully booked and nothing further. It was gone 9.30pm for my check in and just wanted to sleep so didnt push it, Luckily their was a single bed also in the room but not what I paid for.
Also had to move the bed around as no power sockets near the bed only near tv, & need for sleep.
Bring earplugs as you can clearly hear neighbours calls.. and nightime snoring, i played music aswell to help!
Decor is very tired, damaged lampshade and dirty curtains. Pillows need replacing as very lumpy. Remote control no back so batteries free.. not good if had kids!
Bathroom fairly clean but mould was present, was not a nice look. Mirror was very tired aswell, the bath cover was broken.
Simple things that should quickly replace but can tell are just left.
They did say they would address with maintenance but i very much doubt it will be updated as the bed is very noticeably broken aswell as the bath despite towel 'hiding' it. So should be marked unusable till replaced. Sadly won't revisit and I honestly hate to criticise but feel reviews don't reflect conditions

Expensive for what you get, decor very dated. I had a double room with one socket for the lamp, kettle, iron plus my devices…. One socket for the whole room!
Bed was super comfy with nice sheets, breakaways good & staff couldn’t do enough for you but it needs a makeover to be charging those prices. It’s in the middle of no where but there is a bus stop right outside.

I got what I expected. For the money I paid im fairly happy with what I got. Very basic rooms. Quite dated and worn out but clean and had what you needed.

Great hotel and service...
Rooms can be maintained a little better

Unfortunately we did not have a satisfactory stay. We booked 2 rooms for 2 adults. One room was fine, the other through a connecting door was poor and clearly meant for children. I had a pull down trundle bed. The dressing table was a shabby blue board, the carpet was stained, the table lamp did not work and the window would not open. This room could not have been allocated to a single traveller. Very poor.

A bit tired

Hotel overall is OK, rooms are a bit dated, paint flaking off in the bathroom ceiling.
Worst part was service during evening meals, left waiting for ages, was going to have a desert but gave up waiting and it wasn’t even busy.

The hotel was a bit dated however it was clean and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again.

I didn't realise this was a Best Western hotel when I booked it. As soon as I got to my room it was quite apparent. Tired, dirty and outdated.

Nice and quiet, rooms very clean, only downfall we booked a double bed which was 2 singles fastened together which put hard dip in the middle. But the place is loverly the breakfast was superb. Staff nice friendly and polite.

It was a very nice property. Too bad it doesn't have an elevator. I know it's only 2 floors, but when handling a lot of luggage, it can be tiring.
Also, the bed we had needs to be replaced. You could feel the support slats under it. My hip landed right on that board.
Otherwise, the staff was amazing and accommodated us when we needed an extension cord. We also enjoyed Andy, our waiter the first night there.

We had a really lovely stay, the bedroom seemed a bit dates and the wooden frame around the bed was a bit uncomfortable but overall it was a very pleasant stay

2nd stay within a week. Same room given. Again, comfortable but could be cleaner and carpet still threadbare around the edges, I know we have the dog with us, but the room doesn't come cheap.
10.0
Excellent value for money. Staff are old school, polite and know what they're doing.
If you're physically challenged or have a lot or heavy luggage, make sure they know that when making the reservation. There's no elevator.

For the single night, it was a cheap hotel that did the job. The shower was very warm with very good water pressure, the taps not so much. The cleanliness of the rooms were a mess, we had two rooms one had a combed hanging over the top of one of the bed and the other rooms curtains had some unpleasant marks on it. We also confused because on room said it had been sanitised and the other room hadn’t. One of the bed springs poked up whenever someone moved. Staff were friendly, despite service taking a while, but they were also busy with a big wedding reception so we didn’t mind waiting.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was big and spacious, and the hotel has plenty of parking spaces.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. A bit dated and tired room. Needs more cleaning as there was dirt in the corners and cobwebs. Ok,it was 'a dog friendly ' room but should have been cleaner. Breakfast was excellent.

70s decor ...bed that folded into the wall. This place was like travelling back in time. Unfortunately that meant that everything was worn out, old and not very clean. Walls were super thin and could hear absolutely noise and whisper from the room next door! Windows were not double glazed and the one wall heater was ancient. So it was freezing for the first few hours . I've stayed in worse but most are better...it was cheap I guess.

Room was dated and unclean. Stains up the wall, dried toothpaste on the wall in bathroom. Over bath shower was like walking on a fun fair madhouse as the bath floor was bowed and sunk.
King size bed was just 2 single mattresses on a clipped together base so a line/gap in the middle.
Bathroom overall was 'grimy', black mould and loose silicone everywhere.

Very dog friendly place to stay

Nothing bad a little shabby but good enough for one night. The restaurant was ok - I would order a food delivery next time. Bar was good. Nothing really stands out but one night was enough.

Sadly rooms are looking very tired decor wise but great shower pressure which my partner appreciated. Bar and front of house areas very smart looking. Service by staff excellent.
