Absolutely dreadful, a birthday celebration totally spoiled,

Half board. Waited 50 mins for starter, then requested food to room. When it arrived it was inedible. Soup cold and covered in skin, terrine was so dry it crumbled like a biscuit when cut, salmon dry, chicken like paper. It must all have been pre-cooked and sitting for hours.

Relaxing, welcoming and calming with nice surroundings!

Very nice hotel with very nice surroundings! Outside our room we had a view of horses walking close by on the field while we were having coffee in the armchairs and relaxing, very nice and calming. The room was very quiet and the facility is great. Very clean and well taken care of. The food was overall on the plus side, specially the ala carte in the restaurant. During our stay we were feeling very welcomed and well taken care of in particulary by staffmember Aywis. He made us feel very welcomed and we also had some tips what to do and places to visit. Mali took good care of us at breakfast on our last day before going home!

The spa facility was nice but needs improvement. To be able to enter the dressing room, you have to walk inside the leisure area where people are using the sauna and have already dressed into their swimmingwear. So here you can walk with your shoes (due to its very wet) on which is not very nice for the people who have already showered and entered The leisurearea. I think those two should be well separated so that you don’t enter the area where people are going to use the pool directly or the sauna. I also think the shower needs improvement. It turns off very quickly, and also the pressure in the shower is very low. Overall, I think the swimming pool and the and the bubble tub was great!

Nettes, aber zu hochpreisiges Hotel

Schönes ruhiges Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe Oxfords. Die Betten sind bequem, das Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und lecker.

Das Hotel erhebt den Anspruch zur gehobenen Klasse zu gehören, jedoch sollte dann auch das Bierglas an der Bar sauber sein und nicht der Lippenstift, der Dame, die vor mir aus dem Glas getrunken hatte noch am Rand kleben. Daraufhin angesprochen wurde das Glas leider nur oberflächlich gereinigt, der Lippenstift, war immer noch sichtbar.

I had a wonderful stay at Voco hotel.

Wonderful facilities, beautiful setting that gives you a luxury farm feel. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were spacious and luxurious. The breakfast and dinner were delicious.

Very disappointing for a hotel that’s ment to be highly regarded.

The spa was relaxing and Paige was brilliant, it was the only thing that relaxed us after a terrible stay in the hotel.

The reception when arriving was rude and didn’t want to listen to previous requests of earlier check in demanding payment without even listening, when arriving in the room after long drive, was constant noise from event room above. and when checking out asked to pay the bill again because system was down.

Lovely hotel but spa and wellbeing facilities let it down.

The rooms were lovely, slept really well, clean and tidy.

The spa let the hotel down. No loungers around the pool so you couldn’t relax and lie down there, jacuzzi was out of order and no relaxation room to relax in after treatments.

Beauté des locaux, propreté, spa, literie, salle de bains, proximité du centre ville (15 min environ)

Prix du parking exorbitant. 20£ / jour alors que parking immense appartenant à l’hôtel Chambre au rdc située proche d’un local servant à la restauration =>bruits de verres et bouteilles ++ le matin très tôt et porte qui claque plusieurs fois à chaque aller et venue du personnel

lovely hotel in an ideal position complete with lovely staff and good food.

staff were lovely and very helpful, room very nice and enjoyed the evening meal which was included in our package. we also enjoyed breakfast plenty too choose from. our favourite part of staying at this hotel is the location, love the walk along the tow path into oxford.

Pleasant hotel but had some serious problems.

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with lots of variety. When we complained about our non working toilet, they credited almost half our money back, which was as good as it could get.

The room was spacious but the toilet would not flush. No mini bar, air conditioner made strange noises. No easy access to the room without a lot of stairs. Some staff were a little curt.

Spontaneous couple getaway

Excellent service, lovely venue and extremely comfortable. Lilly on the front desk went above and beyond for us. As someone who's 6ft4" she upgraded us to a room with a larger bed to compensate for my height which was extremely thoughtful and greatly appreciated!

Our visit to Oxford and the Voco Spires was fun & memorable (for all the right reasons!) Thank you!

We loved the hotel, the location on the edge of town, our room was very comfortable and the facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location as well near the river. We especially appreciated that we could park our car by the hotel and this was the reason we opted to stay with you initially as it was not possible at most of the other hotels in Oxford. The dining quality was excellent - including breakfasts - and we loved the welcoming environment. EVERY member of staff we spoke with was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

The restaurant dinner/ meals and service was excellent, however we thought the dining room itself was a little uninspiring and more like a conference room. Maybe some more suitable room dividers, table lamps/ lighting could be used to cheer it up? We usually preferred to eat in the bar area when we could, as it was more cheerful.

Perfect hotel for our family overnight visit to Oxford

Great location within easy walk along the river into the city. Lovely buffet breakfast and very nice staff, especially Lily who was exceptional. And our room had a fab few over the fields. De-caf coffee bags in room were also a great idea thankyou.

The location and the room were very nice.

I arrived early and was assured that when my room was ready a member of staff would inform me. Even 30 minutes after the standard check in time, I still hadn't been told or approached by a staff member that it was ready. I tried to ask two separate staff members who made me feel like I was creating extra hassle just asking for my room key. The gentleman that eventually did check to see then told me that my room had been ready for an hour and a half. But nobody had informed me. Very disappointed.

Service was excellent, location is good, the room we had was slightly tired.

The location was good, near the city and a nice walk along the river past all the famous rowing crew clubhouses. The staff were amazing, and super helpful at all times with all requests to fulfilled. Our room was at the back of the building with no traffic noise or environmental noise.

The rooms are a little tired, with the carpet in our room showing holes where previous fittings were. The room was large beyond need but the bathroom was poorly laid out with the world's tiniest shower, which had ill-fitting doors and an overhead shower head that dropped even when not selected. Soundproofing, we could hear conversation and singing children even when other visitors were in their rooms.
