Excellent location, very clean and peaceful, minus the little bit of noise from the pub downstairs
Not enough toilet paper

Nice flat
There was no fair and reasonable warning that the flat is directly above a very noisy Pub causing us to have NO sleep and ruining our weekend away so we left after one night.

Great location, lovely flat. Vanessa was very accommodating with my late departure request. Clear instructions on getting to the flat. I really enjoyed being back in the centre of Oxford again. Comfy bed, tasteful decor. Safe access to the building and the flat wad quiet, despite being above a bar/restaurant. I will book here again.

NO food available but many outlets locally. Very good location for downtown Oxford

Could not control the heating for personal comfort. It was a particularly cold weekend -7!!

As a location for visiting the old city of Oxford, it was quite convenient.
The noise! And the lack of ventilation. The apartment is directly one floor above a very active outdoor drinking place, where dozens of people bellowed and guffawed well through the afternoon and into the night. Since the weather was hot, we had to keep windows open. The constant clamour was oppressive and made sleep difficult.

Reasonably good location as long as the Weatherspoons Swan and Castle entrance is used.
The apartment is immediately over the Weatherspoons pub which was noisy until late, and noisy deliveries were made very early each morning. Regular town buses pass by very close to the apartment such that the windows cannot really be opened. The bedroom door didn't close. the toilet was very hard to flush, and there was no shelf in the shower. To dispose of the rubbish required a long walk and spiral staircase.

Great location right in the center of town and near shopping. Sofa's were comfortable..
Appreciated the coffee and snacks that were left for us.
Internet was a decent speed.
We were prepared for some noise based on reviews, however the tavern isnt just noisy at night, its constant all day noise. Including trucks delivering at 7am each morning and clattering kegs. It was in the mid-'80s when we arrived and we had hoped to use the windows to cool things off. The apartment has full sun exposure all day, so heats up FAST. We had to open windows to control this heat, and thus were subjected to noise the entire time.
We tried to have groceries delivered and the driver was unable to locate the apartment because its not listed on any mapping app. Its ridiculously difficult to find, and instructions we received via Whatsapp helped, but don't work for deliveries or having friends find you.
The cleaning crew turned off the switch that keeps the refrigerator on - we didn't know this and our ice cream melted. There are switches to ensure all appliances are turned on, and nothing in the welcome materials to help explain this. No guide for microwave oven so it was hit or miss to figure out how to use it.
The toilet flush mechanism is ridiculously difficult to push in - we had to rig up using a bottle to save our fingers.

the area of the living dining kitchen was very good.
the availability of the nespresso capsules, the fairy liquid and the washing machine tablets came in very handy so was the courtesy basket.
The bedroom is small and the wardrobe doors cannot be opened fully.
the shower tray was very slippery
Next time we stay we would prefer not to have the bedroom above the pub below. the noise was more than we would have liked

Great flat in fantastically convenient location opposite Westgate centre and close to centre of Oxford. Comfortable, extremely clean and well equipped. Host was really helpful and access very well organised. Would not hesitate to return.

Really appreciated host accommodating us for early check-in and late check out. Also the provision of some basics on arrival was much appreciated. Location in the centre of oxford and across the road from Sainsburys was ideal for us.

Good location, clean apartment but no parking which was very difficult as we had a lot of luggage, bed was too small and water was not warm for the duration of stay.

This apartment is a perfect one bed pad right in the heart of Oxford opposite the shopping mall and close to all the restaurants and shops. It’s a five minute walk up the road to get into Oxford city centre where you then have the University and all of the city’s history laid out at your feet. The flat has a big open plan lounge / kitchen, balcony, and a nice comfy bedroom. If you’re coming to Oxford do not think twice about booking this place.
No downsides

Brilliant location
It was hot the weekend we went and it can be a little loud at night if you have the windows open as you are above a pub but it didn’t effect us too much

Great location. Great layout and very comfortable
How hot it was in the apartment, but with the fans and balcony open it was manageable.
