Breakfast was good. The gluten free granola was delicious. Our hotel room was very nicely furnished, warm and luxurious. We particularly enjoyed playing pool in the evenings and when we came back to the hotel from various trips out. There were no other guests around and it felt as though the pool table was our own!
The breakfast room was chilly.

The staff were lovely. The bed comfy and the breakfast delicious.

The staff and location along with an amazing upgrade due to my husbands height also the happy anniversary card and petals on the bed
The fact no bar or restaurant

Lovely, cosy hotel with stylish interiors in perfect tune with the surroundings. Gardens are absolutely lovely. The luxury of having a little spa to yourself is fantastic. The staff on the reception was super helpful. Chris kindly gave me a free upgrade, which was a great touch. I stayed at the Sage room, which was large, quiet, clean and stylish and felt like own mini-cottage. I also used the spa and had a relaxing massage. Rose was a heaven sent. She really helped me loosen my tired, tense joints and relax my mind. As for breakfast, there was plenty of choice for a vegetarian and it was very nice to sit watching the lush garden from the breakfast table. The only bit that was a wee bit underwhelming was the cooked veggie breakfast. But then, when you live in London, the vegetarian food scene is so fab that it it hard to beat. Other than that it was a lovely experience and I will be very very happy to come back.
As above

Dorset is just a lovely place to visit, and we saw much loved family

Well located and top quality facilities. The gardens were a bit unkept but nice
4.3
Liked the complimentary sloe gin in room.
Comfy bed, good en-suite.
Within walking distance of places to eat/drink.
Car park backs onto industrial area and no cameras.
No food in evening.
Missed out on breakfast as had to leave early.

Everything was fine, but at £300, it was over priced for where and what it was!

We always stay at the Eastbury when visiting Sherborne and we’re never disappointed. The garden rooms are exceptional, the spa treatments fantastic, and the breakfast sumptuous.
We had hoped the restaurant was open for dinner but we found a great local alternative at the Clockspire.

lovely little hotel. attention to detail great.
friendly staff - lovely breakfast

location was great. loved our room.
restaurant wasn’t open so we had to search for a restaurant for our evening meal. Bar was closed and we were only able to request drinks to lounge until 8pm. Spa was also closed. Cost for deluxe room was still the same but no facilities at all which I feel should be prompted on selecting hotel so very disappointed.
4.3
The staff were incredibly welcoming from the first phonecall and emails to the moment we checked out!
We had our dog with us and the team were extremely welcoming of him! The room was gorgeous and extremely comfortable!
4.3
Old fashioned with reasonably modern facilities
Lack of restaurant for lunch/evening Mel's.
4.3
Convenient and a great staff.
They need more staff.
we had a large wonderful room, but it needed a good clean in all of those places people cannot see. e.g. on top of the wardrobe and behind the bed. Had not been cleaned for ever.
4.3
The staff were excellent from start to finish (including in the spa) and the breakfast was also great with a solid selection.
If I was being picky, the pillows could have been better. It was also a shame that the bar was closed during our stay.
4.3
The hotel was exceptionally friendly and our room ( which was a deluxe) was upgraded so that was a great surprise
4.3
Fantastic breakfast. Great staff. Comfortable bed. Slow gun in room- not tested but nice touch. Great feel to the hotel.
4.3
lovely setting close to the shopping area of Sherborne.
Despite paying £189 for a room, there was no restaurant open for dinner. (We were celebrating my wife’s birthday). We had to go out for a meal.
The bar closed at 9.00 pm so we weren’t able to have a drink when we returned to the hotel after our meal. Nobody at reception from 9.00 pm.
So certainly not good value for money.

It was sage one of the potting sheds so cosy and relaxing tucked into the shrubs and trees. Loved the decor and the fridge and fire pit was a nice touch and the bi folding door was amazing. We loved it.
We both have bad backs so we found the firm mattress to hard for our backs so didn't sleep very well.
4.3
lovely lounges and friendly staff
would have been great to have supper there but restaurant is closed

The location was super and convenient parking too. We were met warmly and shown to our room in a welcoming manner. The huge was a great size and very well appointed. The shower room was a good size too.
Breakfast was very enjoyable and had a great view of the garden and busy bird table
We enjoyed a game of chess and a game of pool before heading out for dinner
I was disappointed to find they had stopped doing evening meals.
4.3
Friendly team with a brilliant welcome, whether it was the front desk or restaurant or the spa. Lovely hotel room touches like the mugs from a neuro diverse charity, mints by the bed, mirror TV, great SMEG mini-fridge and wonderful hot shower.
4.3
The hotel’s decor was beautiful and the food was amazing.
The fact that the hotel is presented as a spa hotel. However, the spa’s capacity is for 4 people only.
In a bigger group that is impossible to enjoy together. The slots get filled really quick for that reason and we couldn’t even go in.
4.3
large comfortable bedroom with good shower. Nice bar and friendly staff
we were told the spa was fully booked despite there being very few guests staying at the hotel. it seemed more like this was a staffing issue but it is recommended that you book treatments in advance so this clearly is a must rather than an advisory.
4.3
we absolutely loved the family suite ! such a great set up for small families. the whole place was lovely and cosy with lots of different theme rooms and the grounds very well maintained
the breakfast was a little bit average for the quality of the place, some improvement would make it really perfect
4.3
Lovely accommodation. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Attention to detail. Great breakfast selection. Great location. Complimentary wine and sloe gin.
Mug dirty in room. Not cleaned underneath the chest of drawers.
4.3
Excellent staff, Cosy and comfortable surroundings, lovely room.
