Close to the lake

Run down and in dire need of a renovation. Photos are not what it looks like now.

Horrible place to stay. Extremely filthy and unhygienic.

There is nothing to like about this motel. It is dirty and run down

Disgustingly filthy . The staff unfriendly. Bugs and ants throughout. Smells terrible. Old mouldy food in microwave. Very dirty floors. Bathroom extremely dirty. Plates and cups chipped. The list goes on.

Great location- straightforward

Comfy bed and great location. Good off-street parking. Simple and straightforward.

Bathroom / Shower a little tired but very clean and good water pressure.

Unit very dated, needs a major refit, Dirty walls and doors, No smoke alarm, Spa pool was rotten. Unusable.

Nice, comfy and affordable

Things can be perfect if spa working,😞 but it was not. So, please always make sure your spa taps working before new guests arrive. Leaving this aside everything else is perfect 👌. Looking forward to visit again hopefully spa work next time😊

Overall was impressed with our stay there.

Great location, nice view of the lake. Clean and tidy, lovely staff. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Some of the stairs are loose and would be safer if they were fixed to not move.

The spa and beds were comfotable

There was no staff around. 😕 the rooms were not serviced. No maps to find rubbish or recycling. No broom or vacuum to clean room.

We arrived later than expected so had let the m know. They were super helpful and great communication to let us know room details. Comfy bed and pillow option!

Good value and great host.

Good value stay and host went out of her way to help guests. Big concert in town on a hot, sunny day and host recommended my wife wear a hat. When told my wife had left her hat at home the host insisted on giving her one of her own. She also then drove another group of concert goers to the event in her personal car because their cab had not showed after an hour - fantastic hospitality.

Mineral pool in room wasn't usable but as we didn't know there was one this wasn't an issue!

Office staff was fantastic and helpful. In helping us with arrangements. So sorry we had to cut our stay short but will be back.( May not have avocados next time)

Our stay was comfortable. Pity about the neighbours loudly talking until 3am

The room was very comfortable. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to use the spa.

The people in the room next to us were talking outside their room until 3am. My husband had to ask them to quieten down or to go inside.

Disappointing

The staff were friendly and lake just over the Rd.

No air conditioning, room was very hot. Needs updating. No spare pillows. No Flannels or hand soaps and shampoo. Not the cleanest I've stayed in and decor is very tired. Didn't like that there was no sky movie channel and the way the T.V. Was set up as you could change channels easy with remote. I wouldn't stay again for these reasons, but one night stay was bearable.

Run down with maintenance done on the cheap.

It’s location.

Very run down. Outside pool cover was rotten and peeling away. Windows all floppy on hinges. Bathroom fan didn’t work and had a sticker over the switch saying it was pakarud. Kitchen units looked like they had been ripped out of a 1960s demolition and nailed in place with decking timber to fill the gaps. Paving stones missing out of the middle of the driveway as you drive in. could also hear every toilet use of unit upstairs.

Superb

I liked everything about this hotel. The staff were awesome, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we need. The Mineral Spa bath was pretty cool as well filled the lower pool for my baby of 16 months and then filled up for me when she finished and hopped out. The little kitchenette was cool as too , I could close it off so baby doesn't touch everything . You can walk from the hotel to town probably takes an thirty minutes to an hour but it's along the lake and is a nice walkway.

The only thing that was off was the fan in the toilet , it was a little loud but it's a fan .

We'll Be Back!!

Lovely staff -- friendly, helpful, with a good sense of humour. Amazingly comfortable bed, spacious room, good amenities. Nice view to mountains from upper level. Free parking on-site. Thrilled to have geothermal spa pool right in our room! Will definitely go back.

These are not complaints, but there is a good step up into the shower that would be tricky for my older parents. Location is closer to DeBretts than to main centre, so perhaps less convenient if guest didn't have car. Great value for money though.

The bed was comfortable. The Mineral spa was old and uninviting, it looked the same as it did 20 years ago

Could of been better.

Access was easy, good location, easy to find.

Pen marks on the top single blanket, plates weren't clean, hair in the bathroom sink, looked like someone had a shave, no milk for cuppa tea or coffee upon arrival.
