Near the lake. Beautiful sight to greet you in the morning!

I booked based on the photos. I thought i was getting the ground floor that allow me to access lake in the morning from the room. But when i checked in, i was given the upper floors. It compromised my experience.

Comfy place to stay

Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and great views of the lake. Breakfast and dinner was very nice. The Hotel Receptionist promptly let us know we had left a cell phone in the room after checking out. Very thankful for their honesty. We had a very restful couple of days and recommend this hotel for comfort and great staff.

Bathroom was spacious and clean but fixtures a little tired.

everything was amazing, view especially

only disappointing thing was went to use the spa bath, filled it up half way and turned the jets on and was very dirty, hair and built up grim/dirt cam out of the jets plus one of the covers came off the jets so didnt end up using which wasnt to happy as that was a big reason i booked the room.

Great location. Furnishing is outdated.

The location right on the lakefront and a good atmosphere. Also very good beds and pillows.

Breakfast was too basic for a 4.5 star hotel. TV was extremely dusty. Needs an update to 21st century furnishings. Bad wifi. Too expensive for the offered service level.

Decided to splurge and stay here for one night and was not disappointed!

Fantastic location on the lake. Perfect view of lake from second floor balcony and out sliding doors. Room was well appointed and clean. Happy to have access to pool and small gym. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the Edgewater restaurant - had a fantastic meal.

Bathrooms a little dated and showers small. Prices a tad on the high side for both rooms and meals - it is definitely a splurge.

Pleasant hotel 20 minutes walk from town centre

The breakfast buffet was very nice and the bed was large and super comfortable. The lake front was pleasant. The spa bath was a great feature!

The dinner was rather pricey, and the drinks took a long time, perhaps they need another bartender during the meal rush. The shower was quite old but the pressure was fine. I think we paid way more because we unknowingly came during Ironman weekend, but perhaps I would be less picky if we paid less!

The staff were so welcoming! Pool was Devine. Room was so spacious and had the most incredible view! The bed was massive and so comfy!

Lovely location, but unfortunately dated and boring room design

The view of the lake was lovely.

The room was tired and decor dated and uninspiring. The mattress and pillows felt cheap and of a poor quality. Good design does not have to be expensive. Spend money on a good designer who will create inspiring rooms and probably save you money along the way.

We didn’t need to go into town as all our requirements were more than meet. A great stay

The location is excellent along with splendid facilities and great wait staff. We loved the hot pool and grotto for relaxation. There is a nice feel about the place and it has a fantastic bar that looks out to the lake. We enjoyed the bar food especially the seafood chowder.

It is quite pricey so probably won’t be able to stay every time.

Not worth $360 per night! Will not be back

The view and bed!! Bar meal wasn’t bad but was not as advertised but was not offered a drink whilst waiting. No mini bar or slippers, no turn down service offered, house keeping ignored the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign. Surface of bath was very slippery and dangerous

The most uncomfortable stay in my life

only good thing is the location because it’s next to the lake.

stay was really uncomfortable. unclean, dark room. bad mattresses. really small bathroom. The day we stayed the lift was broken and no help was offered.

If your priorities are location and outlook, this is the hotel for you. It's pricey though.

Location is superb, right on the lake, great view of sunset on patio with wine in hand! Room was spacious, heated pool.

I'm quite torn here. This hotel is starting to show its age. The bathroom was too small for the size of the room and the price. Food was OK but room service menu was brief. Was it value for money? It depends on your priorities. As I said above the location and views are superb.
