Dated. Needs a complete refurb

Being by the lake was great and being next to the walkway. Great parking.

Facilities were dated. Reception was next door.

I was really happy with my stay, no complaints at all.

The location was great, it was really clean & very comfortable. I didnt use it but theres a lovely warm outdoor pool in the cosy central courtyard. Meals are available at the adjoining hotel resturant, but too pricey for my budget. Great parking also. I loved my stay & would stay there again.

Tea & coffee tucked away in a dresser cupboard. There is a note on the dresser top but I didn't see it so I payed $6 for a cup of tea at the restaurant only to find the 'hidden' goodies afterwards. So this could be mentioned at check-in, or on the information sheet which is handed to guests at check-in.

Should have booked elsewhere

The room service dinner was lovely. The location is great next to the lake.

It had a kitchenette with a stove but the stove top was broken, wouldn't heat. The main pool was too hot - actually had to go to the smaller hot pool with my toddler which was ironically cooler. The fan in the bathroom clacks and the water pump is noisy through the night. The room service was nice but don't tell you it has a surcharge. I booked for the location but it was stormy so didn't get to enjoy it for that. Not much going for it, same price but not as good as de bretts

Wonderful time with family

Pool hot and clean, apartment was well situated and comfortable. Easy access to waterfront.

Overall good but staff need customer service training.

Great location, the pool was great and it was good to be able to access it from our room.

I left an item in the room, the Sunday receptionist was helpful but the Monday receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I asked to book for next year, she said she would get back to me but hasn't.

Best view in Taupo. Clean and tidy but unit cold and decor dated.

10 out of 10 for the view. Lovely warm pool. met the cleaning staff on check out and they were so warm and friendly and smiley. Good shower. But back to the view! I could have sat all day and looked out at the lake and mountains - just amazing.

the reception was closed from late afternoon so if you require anything you have to go next door. We were in the pool and wanted to use the spa but it was locked. We were not going to get dried and dressed to walk next door to ask if someone could let us in so that wasn't great. Rooms very clean and tidy but decor old and tired. veneer lifting in places etc. had a cold snap and the rooms were freezing - could have done with more blankets on the beds. queen bed fine but smallest single beds ever - okay for kids not so much adults.

Dated units, close to the lake a step away, staff helpful and bed comfortable.

The staff were super lovely, kitchen and shower were awesome bed was super soft really nice

The unit we had was dated needs an upgrade colours were reds and browns, little midges were flying into the kids rooms and bathrooms thru the louvres windows. And there were ants in the bathroom

Dont stay

There was nothing much to like about this Motel. It was near the shore of Lake Taupo but that was it. The restaurant next door was good but pricey.

The room was terrible it was situated in a barrack type arrangement, wedged between other rooms. The room itself was very samll not even room to boil the kettle which had to sit on the floor. The worst was the outside door had a window in it and a bright light was positioned outside. There was no way to cover the window so the room was bright as day through out a very sleepless night. Dont stay its is terrible.

Great place to stay nice and quiet close to the lake lovely warm pool

Very minor and totally minimal was a small around of gunk at the bottom front of the shower door but really 9.5 / 10 lovely and quiet very clean and close to lake

Cozy and comfortable

Such a beautiful view just outside a sliding door. It’s a heavy cold windy and sunny at the same time.

The pool was amazing! cannot express that enough. Perfect heated temperature. Also our beds were extremely comfortable, we all had great sleeps. and the amount of blankets provided per bed was perfect.

Great location and conveniently next door to the Millenium (Manuels) for buffet breakfast/dinner.

We stayed at Oasis for the outdoor heated pool and lake front location. Unfortunately the pool was not very hot. Several other people who were using the pool were also disappointed it wasn't hotter (given it's winter).

Rooms very old looking and dark. Beds didn't get made. Would be great to have tv so you could turn the TV around to watch in the bedroom. Beds very hard.

Superb

Friendly people very helpful and the young lady working on the weekend of the 20/05/23 till Sunday you were very helpful especially when the fire alarm beeped twice and you got it fixed as soon as possible thankyou. And to the staff at Millenium also very polite and the service spot on all of you thankyou so much would definitely come back .

We liked being able to use the facilities next door like the pool and gym/restaurant!

The spa pool was hardly warm but the pool was like a bath!

The location was great, the room was nice & clean

There was nowhere to park our car and after saying we would be checking in between 1900 and 2000 we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come along and check us in. Same applied to checking out, there was nobody at Oasis at 9.05 am and again had to wait for someone to appear to check us out

The empty reception at 5.25pm on Friday when it said it closed at 5.30 and the empty reception upon checkout.

Just a few things that I didn't like, for the amount of money that I paid wasn't worth it because the rooms were very small, the air conditioner wasn't working, our check is time was super late it was around 3 which wasn't normal other hotels and motels check in time is around 12, but over all things other things were nice like the view, the swimming pool and the stuff service, thank you.

Great location by the lake. Plus there was a tennis court.

It was rather shabby and dated. Beds a bit old. The reception was mostly closed so you have to go to the Millenium next door.

Enjoyed our stay.

The room next to the pool was great for us and the kids. Quick and easy access being so close to the pool, suited our needs Nice clean tidy facilities and friendly staff on arrival. Good parking and easy access to the rooms.

Just having enough dry towels or a place to hang them out since we were in and out of the pool all day and no where to hang them up noting the wet weather didn't help that either
