A very pleasant experience and would certainly stay again at the Ventura Inn.

Central location was ideal for the many tourist attractions Hamilton has to offer. Room was well maintained, clean and decorated. Bed very comfortable. I understand from family members that the breakfast was excellent.

It was a quiet and comfortable accommodation, a shame we didn't stay for longer.

Its location is very convenient, close to a Paknsave and the CBD. The place was also quiet and had all the necessary things we needed. The staff were super friendly, very much a relief after my stopover in Auckland.

Great stay

Great central location, nice and quiet. The pool was excellent as was the huge deep bath. Awesome pressure in the shower and very clean, modern rooms. Lovely beds. Awesome for our family with a toddler. Nearby to the supermarket and great cafe.

Staff on the front desk were a bit grumpy, but ok.

great location, breakfast, amazing hot shower, good value, dated bathroom

Breakfast was great. Simple but great value for the price. The room was spacious, the shower had amazing pressure and the water was really hot. The lobby desk help were great. Central location to Hamilton Gardens, River Walk, Zoo, and the Tree Arboretum.

However there was no ice and we inquired, and oddly no trash bin by the office workspace which we also inquired about and got no response, and the bathroom is very dated.

Great efficient service and pleasant, friendly staff, including the cleaning team!

It was a last minute booking as we weren't sure if we were going to be spending the night. Booking was confirmed immediately via email once we knew there was a room available. Desk staff person on arrival was pleasant and efficient as were the staff when we left in the morning. Thank you, we intend to stay again when next in Hamilton. Good on site parking too.

Great stay, will definitely be back.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfy beds.

We had booked for three adults but had a room with only 2 chairs at the table. It was a small space for 3 adults.

Lovely place to stay in great location

Location was great, continental breakfast very nice in a cheerful and clean setting, room spotless, bed comfortable

Was a bit noisy as in hearing some noise from other rooms but not so much as to be distressing, heat pump didn't really seem to be generating much powerful heat, there wasn't a guest manual in the room

It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff, as we expected. It was within walking distance of the central district. It was a reasonable value for our money. It met our expectations.

We didn't like the TV going in the breakfast room. We don't want to listen to ads or any other programme at that time of day. Staff member we asked to turn it off did not smile or say he would do it. However, it was turned off by the staff.

Good place to stay when you need a room for the evening - secure parking and 24hr reception. Be careful when booking thr

The room was as advertised and was great for a place to stay the evening. We had a late evening and an early checkout but were able to come in as we needed and check out early with the 24hr reception. Ample parking too.

There was a hole in the wall behind the bedside table. The fan in the bathroom was loud and turning off the light did not turn the fan off. When we checked in, there was no record of us staying and I got limited assistance in terms of them offering me alternatives to solve the issue. I had to bring up my booking.com confirmation email and show the front desk and ask them what they were going to do about it as it clearly said my booking was confirmed. Luckily they had a free room same as what we’d ordered. Don’t know what who’d have happened if there was nothing available as we went off the booking.com confirmation our room had been booked. Not the properties fault (they mentioned they’d had previous issues with booking.com not confirming the booking in their system) but I felt like no one was going to assist us with fixing it if there wasn’t a room spare. Kind of got the feeling it was a ‘it’s not our issue’ scenario.

Fantastic value for money with some lovely surprises.

The staff were warm and helpful from the start of our stay to the end. The room was spotless and just what we wanted. Breakfast was an added bonus and delicious. Nice touch that the gym next door can be used for $6.

If I had to find something it would be the muffins at breakfast.
