Best place to stay in Rethymno. Good location, great food.

The location was great. It was really close to the highway and fairly close to the old town. The view was magnificent and the staff very friendly.

The place was opened from 8:30 to 2:00 AM. In these hours the staff was there, but after that if you wanted to come later or leave earlier you had to call a guy to come and open the door, which was not a big problem because he lived next door.

Aside from the incredibly loud music in the bar/restaurant the suites were nice minus the few examples mentioned abo

The property was great, nice rooms, clean, and great views. The bed was comfortable and the sitting area spacious. The bathroom was quite large with a nice shower and jacuzzi tub. However, there were no hangers in the very large closets, no iron, one room had a hairdryer and one did not. The back patio area was not useable because the awning was broken and it was incredibly hot without shade. Also, it would have been nice to have coffee and tea available in the rooms since there is no staff available until 9:00. But I must say the staff was quite friendly and helpful, absolutely no complaints with them at all.

Nothing wrong with the actual property however, there is a very large outdoor restaurant/bar adjacent to the suites that had a DJ playing music from 19:00 to 2:00. At first the music is at a level wherein conversation is possible but it becomes increasingly louder so that by 22/23:00 it is impossible to talk without yelling at the people at your table. And in the suites it is too loud to sleep until it stops. We were not made aware of this until we had already moved in. This was quite a problem.
