Pleasant stay in a great location

Good location and size of our unit was perfect

There wasn't enough toilet paper, no one serviced the motels on the second day luckily we didn't need new towels or anything we ran out of toilet paper however, eubbish etc wasnt emptied. The motels are very dated but all we needed....things could have been cleaner and the windows were still soaking wet from the cold night before which made it feel cold and damp in arrival

Improvement

Location was good, place was neat n tidy.

Heating system was very poor. According to the cold weather, heater was not working properly. it took more than 3 hours to warm up the room and specially lounge area. its hard when u have toddler with you. it was very cold over there. Need to replace the heaters. Bathroom door had no lock. i attached the photo as well. This is a matter of privacy. whenever we had to go to the bathroom we had to inform each other, which sounds funny and embarassing.

Would use this motel again

Staff was super friendly and directed us to pick grapes off the vine and pointed us in the direction for the Anzac Day dawn service.

Not a 3 Star Motel at all!

Location- an easy walk to the main township

Motel was the worst we have stayed at in NZ - it should not be advertised on Booking.com. Lazy invisible management. Not renovated as advertised- everything old and shabby. Ripped curtains , dripping taps, 70s furniture, only 2 tv fuzzy stations etc, …

New Zealand Road Trip

Parking directly in front of room. Nice large clean room. Good wifi. Good hot water. Very nice little kitchen area. Queen size bed. Very small hotel, I believe a total of 7 rooms. I would return if I were in the area again. Nothing around the hotel, you need a car to really get anywhere.

Check-in was a little crazy, but I did get my keys. everything worked out.

perfect place to stay while visiting Milford Sound

was traveling to Milford Sound and needed a two night stay in the town of Te Anau the room was clean and tidy with en-suite and small kitchen facilities which was great for the two nights we were there

Lovely place to stay

Nice quiet place close to everything, they had some dvd's in the room and we enjoyed that. Room was nice, spacious, heating worked really well and had everything we needed.

Check-in was relatively smooth.

The room was horrible. It had a bad smell, and the window panels were layered with dust and dead insects. The kitchen, oven and bathroom were very old and dirty. The carpet looked old and dirty - I made my toddler stay on the bed the entire time we were there. Flyscreens had holes meaning insects visited throughout the night. It was a very disappointing stay, especially compared with the other motels we stayed at during this trip. In my view, the place needs a major renovation and deep clean in order for it to be inhabitable..

Convenient location, reasonably clean.

2 table chairs in the apartment for 5, mismatched and sometimes not sufficient cutlery. Warm quilt on January.

A good base

It had a good base; kitchen, good sized rooms and access to all amenities.

Missing the small things, only two towels but were four of us, no presence or staff at the hotel.

It was conveniently located. In need of an update and some grounds maintenance.

Couldn’t get shower to work at anything other than a dribble.

TV was useless - sound and picture were not in sync so sound was delayed - impossible to watch. Remote needs replacing - did not work properly. Just try and use for yourself staff.

Its high time to deep clean the room.

Spacious

Upon arrival hair on pillow cover , dirty microwave , sticky bathroom and kitchen floor , stained wardrobe mirror, food particles in the kitchen area , food partice on bedroom carpet , cob webs above the bedroom door. While checking out, we slept on stained mattress protector. Had blood stain on it. Garden sliding door is faulty , won't lock.
