It has always been my favourite hotel and lived up to all my expectations. The staff were all friendly and efficient and the room was large, well equipped and extremely comfortable.
Nothing.

lovely atmosphere, huge reception, fab bar area, room spacious. friendly, professional staff!
the extra £4.99 charge for room service. it doesn’t sound much but i think it’s cheeky!

Absolutely amazing .. the rooms are fabulous .. the breakfast is excellent …. The staff are really very very accommodating and very good at their jobs .. the views from the riverside terrace are amazing …. in fact it’s so amazingly fabulous - we’ve booked to stay an extra night ..
Absolutely nothing

Good room and very clean
No specific issues

Property is clean wish amazing facilities and is central enough. Bed is super comfy!
Only 4 pillows on the bed and they were quite soft.

The ambiance was amazing and classy. The design is amazing and gives a holiday and relaxed vibe. And the rooms are huge and beautful unlike others in UK.I was impressed with the room size and was thankful to stay in proper hotel room in Uk.As almost all around UK rooms are too small.Weldone Lowry hotels. And yes didn’t want to forget mentioning the amazing large bed size and comfortable.
Requested for a better view as it was my birthday trip but was politely turned down. But was gifted with a drink voucher.

Everything was perfect honestly, tried booking for December already to come for the holiday with kids.. but sadly the hotel was fully booked on the website. Staff were cautious, House keeping was prompt.
The breakfast session could have more variety options.

On this occasion we did not have breakfast but we did have cocktails in the bar - fabulous.
Reception team were super welcoming and the concierge straight at opening the door and taking our luggage
4.3
Room very clean and staff very friendly. Great location to access city centre.
Meal in the bar area was not of the quality we would have anticipated.
4.3
Room was very spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were great. The breakfast (especially the omelette) was excellent.
I think it was slightly overpriced relative to the facilities and other hotels we’ve been to, particularly when parking is not included and cost an additional £24 for one night.
The water pressure in the bathroom was poor, but we couldn’t find fault with anything else - it’s just not the best value for money.
4.3
The room was very nice with lovely views of the river.
The breakfast was lovely with a good selection of food.
Staff very friendly and courteous.
Extras expensive, disappointing that even a bottle of water is charged. The electronic curtains did not work.
The TV signal was poor and the sound kept disappearing, picture kept freezing.
The mini bar door wouldn't open.
4.3
Great room and great location. Nice decor in restaurant and lounge bar. Good food and service.

We had a lovely room overlooking the river. The facilities are excellent and we could park our car which was very important.
It was lovely to be greeted by a concierge who helped us with our bags.
Nothing. It was all lovely.

i booked a river view room but there was no river in my view
4.3
luxurious, welcoming, excellent employees, great location, good in-room facilities
nothing
4.3
staff very friendly and polite - they are lovely people and its not their fault the hotel is shabby
bathroom very shabby - falling apart - no bath - not a very good breakfast for the price
4.3
Large, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
So expensive for what it is. It was convenient for our needs but massively overpriced.... £500 a night for what is basically a glorified motel! Car parking inconvenient and expensive, humdrum bar (terrace closed "because of an incident" - never really explained)
Mini bar works on pressure pads so DON'T TOUCH OR ELSE! Made you feel like a criminal. Skimpy bathrobes, towels had seen better days
A place like this survives on its friendly, willing staff who undoubtedly do their best... Top marks to them. Good management, however, seems conspicuous by its absence

The quality of the room was excellent. The location great, the comfort was very good. The breakfast and staff were great.
The only thing I would have liked was a toothbrush and toothpaste provided in the bathroom.
I wish there were some Lowry prints on show.

The hotel was lovely. Very clean and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. We were upgraded and our room was lovely, overlooking the canal, large, great bathroom with separate bath and shower and great dressing area. Lots of nice little touches that made it worth the price. Breakfast was also fantastic.
Although we got our room upgraded, there was an inter-connecting door linking our room with the adjacent one. We were next door to the presidential suite and were woken up at 4am with the occupants of the suite having a party. There were lots of people and the piano was being played! Having the inter-connecting door meant it sounded like we were in the suite with them and so we got no sleep until 6.30-7am when the party finished. It was really disappointing considering how much we loved everything else about the hotel and the fact that I had booked the stay as a gift for my husbands birthday.
4.3
We loved the close proximity to spinning fields and the room size and all the facilities that made it a memorable birthday treat
