The staff was absolutely amazing. I would say they went above and beyond, but I am pretty sure that is how they always perform. Every attention to detail was taken and any extra accommodation was offered. we have stayed at other high end hotels in Cusco but Aranwa will be our home from now on.

Because of our travel season, hotel is quite available to update our room from graden view to street side. The room is wonderful. The bathtub is perfect for us to relax.

The property is absolutely beautiful and takes you back in time - very classy ambience. The location is also perfect for exploring Cusco. The staff were helpful and efficient and the bar served delicious pisco sours.

Food and service very good. A short walk to restaurants and the Plaza de Arnas. Quiet location. Coca tea on checkin.

This was a luxury boutique hotel - our bit of proper luxury (two nights) out of a three week family holiday. Such a beautiful, comfortable place, the heated floor in the bathroom was wonderful!! We were so grateful when the staff made a great effort to allow us to check in early when we arrived in the morning, exhausted. This made a massive difference to us, and helped us enjoy our stay.
The rooms were so beautiful, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the overall experience was very relaxing. We stayed for one night, then went to Machu Picchu for two nights and back again to Aranwa. There was no problem with leaving our luggage for two nights. On the final day, when we were due to check out, my son had contracted severe gastroenteritis, from Machu Picchu, just as we were about to travel again. Again, the staff were very kind and helpful, arranging for a doctor to attend, who was there within half an hour. They also allowed us to check out late, held rooms for us just in case, and really couldn't have done more. We were very grateful indeed!

Located in an old convent with Spanish colonial antiques, heated bathroom floors (amazing in the winter!!), a jacuzzi bathtub, excellent professional staff, good breakfast.
The only thing might be the complex system to switch on the heater in the room. But the porter gave really good instructions. And it’s expected in an old convent where any modern amenities need to be retrofitted to an old building.

We loved this charming hotel. It's like staying in a museum, so much art to see. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. We appreciated the swift laundry service. Everyone was helpful. The location was perfect. It was easy to walk to the plaza and other spots in Cusco.
We liked everything!

Very high quality hotel. Outstanding staff and service throughout. The bedroom was large and comfortable, but the bathroom was even better. Absolutely huge and with an incredible whirlpool bath and excellent waterfall shower. Highly recommended.
The bathroom window had a bright light outside, and the bathroom door was glass, so the bedroom never got dark at night

The hotel is located in a great location, in the heart of Cusco close to the Plaza de Armas, but conveniently far for quietness. The hotel staff was incredibly professional, helpful and kind. The rooms were spacious and well decorated.
The hotel is too pricey for what it offers in my opinion. I feel like a hotel that’s this pricey should at least have windows looking outside for natural light. Our room had one window facing the corridor, which means you have no privacy if you choose to open the curtains. There was a constant subtle noise in our room which kept us up the entire night. The pillows were too firm for my preference but this could be a personal thing. Lastly, the breakfast was weaker than I expected from a hotel like this.

Staff was extremely friendly. They greeted me upon arrival with a hot tea. Beautiful property.

Location
Was never informed of the happy hour/dinner specials on check in of giving the hotel 24 hours notice- given we only stayed for 2 nights we weren't able to avail of these offers as we hadn't given the hotel 24 hours notice.

All fantastic, except the breakfast. Very limited options
breakfast was very limited.

Everything about Aranwa Cusco Hotel was top notch and exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, the hotel staff is so kind and helped us with many things (taxis, covid testing upon departure, early to-go breakfast requests). They held our luggage during our 4 day hike on the Inca Trail and had our bags already waiting in rooms upon our return. The hotel is an old mansion/museum and fascinating to walk around. You will love your stay here! Oh also ... anytime I emailed the hotel ahead of our stay with questions they were very responsive and helpful!
If I had to come up with one thing, I would say that the beds were just a little firm for my personal taste. But I still slept like a rock and the pillows and sheets were super cozy.

Close to the centre of Cusco making it an easy walk to restaurants and the main areas.
Staff extremely helpful right from the moment of booking, helping with the transfer of my luggage from Urubamba, and ensuring we were picked up directly from the hotel for the arranged tours
Room on the small side, with no direct outside window. Breakfast could have had more variety

Breakfast was crap, not 5 star

Everything was great!
