Cute motel with wonderful owner

Rooms are simple but nice and they have amazing shower gel, hand soap and shampoo. The highlight for me was extremely kind and friendly owner.

Nice place, nice friendly staff but we paid for too much room because of the limited choices

Very large apartment which could sleep 4 even though we only needed a small room because we were riding the ferry in the early hours

Handy unit to centre of town on a busy main road. Great Restuarant 200m away.

Great Location happy with our ground floor accommodation although it was a bit cramped.

Booking.com had us in an upstairs unit when we required a ground floor unit. Need to specify this more explicitly on future bookings

Great location. Very comfortable and clean accomodation. Kitchen is well equipped. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

The road can be a little noisy but thats outside the control of the hotel.

Wonderful 3 bedroom appartment, very clean, very nice, good beds, close to "New World" and a fantastic Brasilian Restaurant in walking distance. Also walkable to downtown. Near main road but rooms still quiet. We loved our quick chat with Peter and his advices on Blenheim

Great hosts, wonderful spacious apartment in a central location.

It was wonderful to be met by the hosts Nicola and Simon, the apartment was very spacious, exceptionally clean with a well equipped Kitchen. The hosts had lots of local knowledge and were happy to suggest weather appropriate activities. Pool was great for a quick dip after a hot day of wine tasting! We felt very relaxed whilst staying at this property.

Colonial Motel Blenheim

We had a 3 bedroomed apartment for our stay. The rooms were a great size and there was a good sized kitchen and lounge area. The property was clean and the hosts were great. They have recently taken over the business. They were around and happy to speak and give advice or help when things were not working. (our tv needed to be reset). Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed here as a base to explore the wineries so it was a good base. There was a lovely restaurant called Gramado's a 2 minute walk away from the hotel that had a good menu and lovely wines.

The hotel is situated on the main road -SH1 and the apartment we had was on the side of the building so we experienced a great deal of traffic noise and building shuddering as big trucks thundered past at all times of the night. The windows had to be closed at night but it didn't help much with the noise. There was only one bathroom in the apartment and for a 3 bed it would have been good to have an additional toilet.

A wonderful stay at the Colonial Motel

Amazingly friendly and welcoming hosts. The room was spotless, roomy, plenty of light. Unbelievable attention to detail and everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Colonial Motel.

Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect and reasonably priced.

Wonderful and helpful hosts. Lovely room with balcony and a view of the Wither Hills. Well set-up kitchen, nice spacious room and a great shower.
