A stormy Napier with a gorgeous sunrise on the last day.

The motel is on Marine Parade. It’s a great base to explore Napier and the sunrise views are great. The staff were friendly and always said hello.

The property itself serves its purpose. I would have expected for the money paid that it looked a bit more modern inside the apartment rooms as they looked quite dated. I think the money charged for the room is more for the view than the quality of the room. The bed was not the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on and the pillows were not that good so didn’t get the best sleep in the two nights stay. The over bath shower was terrible. The water pressure coming through the fixed wall shower head was awful. It took twice as long as usual to get showered. There was a spa bath too but didn’t try this. The motel did not have a lift/elevator so anyone with mobility issues will have to stay on the ground floor.

Good location. Nice spa.

Had to change room, due to spa issue. No apology provided. Furniture (couch and chairs) in room in disgusting condition, old, ripped and badly stained. Cleaning left a lot to be desired.

Wifi didn’t work, the rooms looked abit old. Walls were old, lights were missing stuff.

Layout of unit and comfortable chairs to sit in Clean towels and crisp.sheets

Pillow are really Old beds are hard and old. Outside light comes in thru short curtains too light overnight No.outside furniture on deck, grounds were a mess of weeds Stains on carpet, cracks in bathroom tiles, dirry windows, unironed sheers, expensive, old crockery and lots of dirty cutlery🤮

There was a broken light in the lounge - the sacking underneath the couch was hanging down - there were dents in the bath - could do with a spruce up - decor wasn't great

Perfect location and would certainly stay there again.

Great location and very spacious living room with lovely sea views and deck. Large bathroom.

The rooms are getting a bit tired but exterior painting was happening during our stay so perhaps the interior is next. A sock was found under one of the beds, hence the lower "cleanliness" rating, but clean apart from that.
