Absolutely outstanding. Our stay there was an experience second to none. The design, decor, attention to detail, added extras and ambience exceeded all expectation. Simply wonderful.

L'amour is in the perfect setting with views over Napier and the Ocean. The property was immaculate and everything had been well thought-out. Perfect for the two of us.

everything. well designed, charming and cozy. lots of thoughtful touches that add to the feeling that you are in a special place. quiet and serene but five minutes from a variety of restaurants and the beach. loved it!

Nicest room we've ever stayed in

Nicest room we've ever stayed in! Feels like you're in a luxurious tree house. Beautifully decorated and lots of lovely touches, from a mini cheese board to a ready to go beach bag. The bed is super comfy and the shower is excellent! Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

There is building work on site at the moment so a word of warning if visiting over the coming few months, as you may hear some noise from 8am which could slightly spoil a lie in or the tranquility of the gardens.

Absolute Bliss

Would highly recommend staying here at L’amours nest. My partner and I stayed on our wedding night, was such a treat. The hosts went above and beyond. The views were unreal. The chalet has everything you need. Was clean and cosy. 5 star accomodation/service

We LOVED our stay - perfect for our anniversary

We stayed from the 21st-23rd January 2023 in Kauri. Loved the chalet and the outlook. Very quiet and serene. The grounds are fantastic for a walk around. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The comfy chairs to relax in were wonderful. Loved the table to have breakfast etc at. The bathroom is excellent and included everything you needed. Shower was perfect. The chalet is a luxury experience and it delivers. We were left nice options for breakfast to enjoy. The parking is easily sign posted on the street and then you drive down the drive, park and then walk down a short path to your chalet. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the hosts left us a lovely surprise which was a lovely gesture. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary at. I highly recommend for a special occassion.

A unique escape to be hidden within your own forest - didn’t want to leave

Beautiful hidden gem. Lush surroundings and stunning residential interior space. Can’t fault it! We loved our stay and wished we stayed longer.

Everything! The landscaping and surrounding environment is hands down some of the best I have experienced. Especially in a residential setting. Amazing.

One of the best we've stayed at.

Breakfast was acceptable. Convenient location. Well appointed but a bath would have been nice. Cut corner off microwave shelf please. Comfortable bed. Senasational garden

Decor and outlook

Breakfast was not advertised yet it was almost all that was needed. It would have been better to provide some muesli and yoghurt (as well as the bread jams etc) and then say you provide BF.

Perfection in nature

The grounds were absolutely stunning!!! The owner was very welcoming and friendly, she showed us around before we checked in, and gave us the choice of chalets. The interior was picture perfect and had everything you needed and more, there is not one thing we would fault. The little touches we amazing, the girls got ready for the wedding together here and the Nest offered to come clean it for us (the bride and groom) to return to after the wedding, they had set up a welcome back surprise for us. This place is PERFECT!

Beautiful spot away from the hubbub

Beautiful location and amazing views out over the garden. Lovely to wake up and hear the birds and enjoy a coffee in such a calm place. Gorgeous interior, amazing shower, and lovely touches like a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary. Would stay again!

Absolute Tranquility.

This is a great spot for a romantic or relaxing time away. Nestled in the bush it is super quiet and private. The hosts really have though of everything and the extra touches of a welcome drink and nibbles was much appreciated. The bed would have to be the most comfortable bed we have slept in at any accommodation ever!

A little bit away from the CBD means you do need to drive to get to restaurants and attractions so this accommodation is best if you have you own transport, if you do its only a few mins to the CBD and some fabulous restaurants.

We love the tranquility pf these studios, you feel a million miles away from any troubles or madness! Thank you so much - again was not at all disappointed with our second stay! Highly recommend!

Very well presented, tastefully decorated, set in a valley garden up the hill, next to the Botanical Gardens. Far views of the ocean.

Unfortunately we had some issues with the hot water but this has been investigated.

AMAZING!!

Everything, they made our weekend so special with all the added extras. The accommodation and gardens were stunning. Ash was lovely to communicate with. We will definitely be returning!
