Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at your hotel. I'd like to especially commend Oliver and Ella at the front desk for their exceptional service. They were both incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Shirley (front desk) not on duty, but still was the most helpful staff member

Nice buffet
Little bit shabby, staff is not good in English
My room was non-smoking, but the hotel provided me with matches and ashtray. So I assume that some guests smoke inside their rooms, which results in a bad smell in the whole building.

Great location overlooking the Qiantang River. Spacious room with breathtaking view.
Joy (reception staff) who is pleasant and helpful, kindly offered us a birthday cake as it was my husband's birthday.
I was also agreeably surprised by the seafood salad that I ordered through room-service. Absolutely delicious.
Covid-19 must have taken a serious toll on employee morale. Don't expect an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The employees here are just as tired, worn out and blasé as irritable travellers you encounter at the end of a day on a jammed subway.
Entry: There was either no bellboy at the entrance or he stood there chatting with his colleagues without doing anything. The bellboy (whose nameplate says Steven) watched us leave the hotel with a suitcase, enter a taxi, right in front of him while he stood with his hands folded.
Public area: the hotel requires all guests to wear a mask at all time. An employee was instructed to chase clients all over the place and force face masks into their hands. It was such an unthankful job; you could hear staff screaming"put on a mask" (instead of "would you mind wearing a mask please?") all the time.
Check-in: the hotel seemed to have forgotten their existence on Booking.com - since 2020, travellers from abroad dropped sharply. The check-in took almost 30 minutes.
Gender equality: the clerk who was serving me a coffee did not have enough patience to wait through the 15 seconds needed for the coffee to finish its journey from the machine to the cup before he hurried off to attend to a gentleman who wanted a check out. My coffee just stood there, feeling embarrassed and neglected as I was. I should have asked my husband to do the check-in so that he can have the undivided attention of this clerk.
Room: in addition to a beautiful view, there was also a note saying that "the window was scheduled to be cleaned between 7:00-19:00, keep your curtain closed". The door is hardly soundproof. You hear a great deal of noises from the corridor.
Swimming pool: accessible from the corridor. Someone took away my slippers and put her shoes where my slippers used to be because she did not want to wet her shoes. I walked barefooted back to the changing room.

Breakfast is rich , all staff members are friendly and polite always willing and rushing to help . Hotel design is really beautiful. It’s unique. You could refer to it as the golden globe. Concierge is always available and kindly offering help both Checkin and check out they helped with the bags. I loved the Sauna and steam room so much, very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is a bit relatively small but very clean and comfortable. The rooms are big enough and well equipped with complete amenities. They are also cleaned daily without question . Room service restaurant is also really good . You should try it sometime .
The cleaning department should strengthen more in the cleaning services especially in the bathroom and toilets. Sometimes it let out a musty kind of smell. It wasn’t that bed but it can be a bit uncomfortable and some people are a bit sensitive to things like that . All in all I highly recommend this hotel . I will stay again in the future. Keep up the good work and work on the littlest mistakes . Thank you

Beautiful room, and was upgraded to a huge suite after a shower leak, which was very nice! Complimentary fruit and wine with the upgrade, fantastic.
I went to relax in the pool and there were about 30 children bobbing around in there... seemed to be the case the whole time. I work with children but the pool was too small to be enjoyed in that situation!
