Great place to stay, very clean and quiet, beside the hotel is a very nice riverside walkway. Lots of activities, cafe and tea shops, galleries, music etc. Many things to explore.
10.0 / 10.0
Location was ok, a little bit out of the way, but wonderful walks nearby along the canal paths, both sides of the river. The Building is uniquie and lots of character and features. Bikes to rent were really useful. small charge. But in ood condition and well maintained. Breakfast was great, ,lots of choice
Breakfast juices could be fresh and make a nice addition, but its very rare for Fresh juice at any hotel we have stayed. Stopping the smoking on the hallways would be good also, perhaps a seperate floor or area for that would be better.

The beds were very comfortable
6.0 / 10.0
Elegant and simple architecture and furniture. Nice refurbishment of an old silk factory, with unique atmosphere.
Breakfast room not at the level of a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Air filtering and conditioning were missing and the air was unbreathable, due to the heavy Chinese cooking onsite in the early morning. Pastries were at least 48 hours old.
9.2 / 10.0
This place is just incredible and full of history
Insecure feeling
