Good service. Friendly staff. The level of comfort is high.
The sauna and jacuzzi in the dressing room was not functioning. A slight bummer but it didn’t affect the stay negatively.

Nice bedroom, good breakfast and dinner buffet. Nice facilities for kids. Quiet and good for resting and relaxing.
Main swimming pool was turned into a pond. Only small outdoor pool available with only 4 chairs. No bar service at the pool. Required use of cap in outdoor pool.

Staff spoke little or no English, but did their best to help. Beautiful scenery and we were upgraded due to a number of facilities not being open.
Taxi drivers between the hotel and Jiande town drove dangerously on a bendy mountain road. Large outdoor pool not open. Food was regularly served cold.

The location provides a great view on the lake, very quiet place.
Don’t you hate when hotels advertise things on their facilities list and actually provide half of them, whether they are closed or not even existing? Well that’s the case here. Seriously overpriced activities, a top floor lounge that is closed, an outside pool full of lotuses and closed to the public. And really nothing around! Don’t go for more than 2 nights and ABSOLUTELY have a car despite the fact they advertise “no parking” on their facilities. Taxis only come on reservation. Lastly: the western “restaurant” is a disgrace when they actually serve something. The Chinese restaurant is ok. Only the breakfast is worth something.
One advice to the hotel management: not offering activities or decent F&B will just keep people away from your hotel. And having a staff that actually knows what they are in charge of helps as well.
In our room: dead cockroach for 3 days very visible near the toilets, a shower with bundle of hair also right in front of the door, spiders and bugs enjoying the view with us…

Location is superquiet, totally isolated and SILENT, perfect for relaxing and doing sports (people travelling for nightlife should NOT come here as the next public space is many kms away !!)
The big , wonderful pool by the lake is closed and filled with ...flowers.
But there are two other GOOD swimming pools on second floor, one internal and one external, the external one with breathtaking view, so more than OK.

The location is good.
No english speaking staff. The outdoor pool was closed in high season and nobody informed about it. The buffet was really poor, not good even for chinese taste. The room service was really bad, everything cold and with used oiled and extremely expensive for any dish.
Cannot do any water sport as suggested in the booking information. And AGAIN ASK IF THE POOL WILL BE OPENED DURING YOUR STAY, if it is not it doesn't worth it to go there it looses all the charming of the place.
7.0
The room, the view, the Chinese restaurant, the staff
The food on the room service menu was poor and not as advertised. It was also cold when we got it. The wine is also very expensive.

The hotel is really great. All the staff were kind and helpful. Our bedroom was big and with a beautiful view. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing time! Good food even with few options for foreigeners. Me and my husband really enjoyed it.
7.9
The facilities were very nice and it had incredible views to the lake. We also took a Yoga class in the Hotel and we loved it.
Poor service...Our safety box was broken and was beeping non-stop, we had to call 3 times to the reception until someone came to fix it and would stop the noise. Then they called again and apologized and offered a Fruit basket as compensation, but we never received it. They also informed that Buffet was until 9pm and that it included BBQ but they did not replenish the food since 7pm so if you got there by 8pm food was almost over.
