Toller Aufenthalt in Bangkok direkt am Fluss

Sehr gute Lage am Fluss direkt gegenüber der Icon Siam Mall. Shuttle Boot alle 30 min zum Icon Siam und Taksin Boots Terminal. Direkt neben dem Hotel gibt es auch eine Anlegestelle für die Express Boote, mit denen man in wenigen Minuten die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen kann (Königspalast, Wat Arun und Wat Pho Tempel). Gutes Frühstücksbuffet und 2 Pools. Tolle Aussicht vom Zimmer auf den Chao Praya Fluss.

Gutes Hotel in Zentraler Lage

Das Hotel ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Lage und Aussicht auf den Fluß entschädigt dies wieder. Der Service und das Frühstück sind sehr gut. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Boot-Shuttle-Service zum Iconsiam, welches direkt auf der gegenüberliegenden Flußseite liegt. Wir waren leider nur eine Übernachtung in dem Hotel, deshalb kann ich zu dem Pool usw. nichts sagen. Ich würde aber das Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in Bangkok weiterempfehlen.

War alle gut nur die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Enjoyable stay in Bangkok

Amazing location. Very helpful staff and clean rooms. The hotel’s private boat to the Iconsiam mall and to Saphan Taksin station makes it very easy to explore Bangkok beating the traffic. There is a direct access to the River City mall, where you can window shop antiquities for hours.

WiFi was unstable at night but I guess this is expected due to high demand and the vast number of rooms/ hotel residents.

Schönes Hotel, zum empfehlen

Schönes Hotel, mit Blick auf den Fluss. Von außen etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber doch relativ normal für Bangkok. Innen toll, Zimmer war groß genug für 3 Personen. Wir hatten zwei einzelne Betten zusammen geschoben. Unser 8 jähriger hat einfach in der Mitte geschlafen. Rundherum gleich ein seven eleven und garküchen, auch Restaurants. Shuttle kostenlos zum Kaufhaus gegenüber, aber nur teure Marken und keine guten Garküchen. Shuttle ist auch zur Metro gibt es auch. Vom Flughafen ca. 45 Minuten je nach Verkehr. Frühstück super , rießen Auswahl.

Good location but not great value

The location is quite good close to the public ferry, makes it easy access for major sightseeing spots. They also have a ferry shuttle service to ICON Siam and the nearest BTS every 30 mins except lunch. The housekeeping guy who cleaned our room(didn’t get his name) was very polite and did his job in jifffy.

1. They had two breakfast areas, one with complete meal while the other had very limited choices. The staff in the morning guided us to the smaller one without informing about the other restaurant with full spread. Also the restaurant Feast has too many stairways as the restaurant is very segmented layout and definitely not elderly friendly as u have to climb up and down multiple times to get one plate of food. 2. The checkout and billing process is bit messy and confusing. the hotel sends the invoice with the remaining amount to be paid on the check out day morning. But when I went to lobby for payment, they gave me a different amount and requested to pay a different amount (no room service or food) which was way higher. When asked why is there a difference in the amount, the receptionist guy gets angry at you and doesn’t explain, rather just behaves rudely. Finally the manager had to come out as I insisted and bluntly mentioned that it was a system error. Honestly m still not sure if I had paid the right bill or not. Nevertheless, trusted the manager to pay the higher amount as at least she was kind and polite to explain.

ประทับใจตั้งแต่การให้บริการ shuttle boat ที่พร้อมให้บริการสำหรับลูกค้า เดินทางมาจาก Icon Siam เรือมีสภาพดี เบาะนั่งนุ่มสะอาดและสวยงาม พนง เอาใจใส่ดีมาก full-service mind ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส เมื่อพบเจอลูกค้า ตำแหน่งของห้องพักที่เราได้ ดีมากกก วิวสวยมาก เห็นโค้งน้ำ และ บรรยากาศการสัญจรของเรือในแม่น้ำไป-มา วิวฝั่งตรงข้ามคือ ห้างไอคอนสยาม ที่สวยงาม ยิ่งตอนที่พระอาทิตย์กำลัง แสงแดดสีทองสาดส่องบนผิวน้ำ พาดผ่าน ตามอาคารต่างๆ เป็นจุดที่สวยงสมจริงๆ ห้องพัก มีความสะดวกสบาย เตียงนอนนุ่มกำลังดี ไม่แข็งและอ่อนยวบจนเกินไป หลับสบายดีมาก ที่ชอบคือ มีหมอนให้ตั้ง4ใบ แต่ ...ความสะอาดนั้น ถือว่า ยังไม่ดีมากพอ กับ โรงแรมระดับนี้ พบเจอฝุ่นเกาะ บริเวณโทรศัพท์ โคมไฟ หรือ นาฬิกาปลุก Check-in/Check-out รวดเร็วดี ใช้เวลาไม่เกิน 10นาที พนง ต้อนรับและให้บริการดี อาหารเช้า มีมากหลาย แต่ยังน้อยไป และ รสชาติดีพอใช้ เมื่อเทียบกับ โรงแรมระดับเดียวกัน ห้องอาหารที่ไปใช้บริการ ห้องอาหารไทย อาหารรสชาติดี แต่ราคาค่อนข้างสูงไปนิด แต่เมื่อเทียบกับการบริการ บรรยากาศ และ มีการแสดงรำให้ดูด้วย ก็ถือว่า สมเหตุสมผล

เรื่องความสะอาดโดยรวม ควรได้เต็ม แต่ ขอหักฝุ่นที่เจอในห้องพัก ผ้าปูมีคราบ สกปรก แต่ก็ไม่ได้แจ้งให้เปลี่ยน เนื่องจาก นอนตอนสี่ทุ่ม เห็นว่าดึกแล้ว เลยไม่อยากรบกวน ห้องน้ำ ดีหมด แต่ เสียดายที่ไม่ สายชำระ จึงทำให้รู้สึกไม่สบายบริเวณก้น เพราะ การทำความแบบเช็ด กับ ล้าง+เช็ดซ้ำเบาๆ ทำให้รู้สึก สะอาดและ ผ่อนคลายมากกว่า ถ้ามีสายชำระติดมาให้ในห้องน้ำก็จะดีมากๆเลยค่ะ

Das Zimmer war im 27. Stock mit Flussblick und Zugang zum Club. Hier konnte man frühstücken und fast den ganzen Tag Erfrischungen bekommen. Abend gab es Cocktails und ein leckeres Buffet mit Kleinigkeiten. Es gibt zwei schöne Swimmingpools und auch Handtücher am Pool. Es gibt Steckdosen in Bettnähe und eine gute Ausstattung des Badezimmers.Das Hotel stellt alle halbe Stunde ein Hotel Shuttle Boot zur Verfügung.

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Rezeptionen uns einen Plan der Flussboote und und des Skytrain hätte zur Verfügung stellen können. Ansonsten haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit wunderschönem Pool

Mein Lieblingshotel in Bangkok seit über 20 Jahren. Super Lage direkt am Fluß (Chao Praya Express Boat Haltestelle vor der Haustür). Streetfood vor der Haustür. Wunderschöner Pool in einem Garten mit altem Baumbestand und Swim-in Pool Bar. River City Center (Shopping, kleine Restaurans, Ablegestelle für Dinner Cruises) nebenan. ICON Siam gegenüber. Freundliches Personal.

Das Zimmer könnte eine gründliche Reinigung vertragen, war aber ok.

Always Top of The Range

We have been travelling to Bangkok for the last 25 years and one of the first hotels we chose for accommodation was the Royal Orchid Sheraton because of its proximity to the river, its facilities and its reputation as one of the best hotels in the city. We have stayed here about 20 times since and returned this time for the same reasons. We travel extensively and this is probably our favourite hotel in the world. It’s like coming back home. The comfort factor, the fabulous staff, the beautiful pools, gym and restaurants make the standard for the price hard to beat. We had the great pleasure of meeting David Lance the General Manager and Marco the Executive Chef on this visit and we were able to give them some very positive feedback about the great service we had experienced. Thank you Royal Orchid Sheraton. You never disappoint us and we can’t wait to visit again.

Excellent emplacement, la vue sur la ville et l’autre berge est magnifique ainsi que les restaurants et piscines donnant sur le fleuve. Personnel, concierges très aimables. Petit plus, les 3 paons qui circulent entre les transats au bord de la piscine!

Peut-être moderniser un peu la décoration, mais cela reste très correct.

Very nice -but hotel needs a decor redo!

Location, staff, buffet breakfast, pool, outdoor dining options, boat to Icon Siam.

The property decor was tired. No walk in shower. Bathtub very high to step in. Our room was clean but other family said they’re had obvious wear and tear (they did complain and received compensation).

Zimmermöbel in die Jahre gekommen. Toilettenspühlung defekt. Nicht immer ausreichendes Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Frühstücksraum ist laut. Das Frühstück ist nach meinem empfinden zu sehr auf Asiatische Besucher ausgerichtet. In einem 5 Sterne Hotel möchte ich mir den normalen Kaffee nicht selber holen müssen.

Top Hotel, Top Lage , uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen.

Lage der Unterkunft ist unschlagbar ,direkt am Fluss und die kulturellen Sehenwürdigkeiten sind sehr gut zu erreichen.( Wat Pho,Wat Arun , Königspalast) Personal thailandgemäß extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksbüffet zum Preis von ca.18,-€ war ausreichend und völlig ok. Schöner Gartenpool zum entspannen. Ja das Hotel ist nicht Neueste, aber sauber und völlig ausreichend.
