What I really like was that they had transportation from the airport at a very reasonable price, AND we really like the driver Alfredo, so much that we booked him for three addition site seeing trips.

Friendly staff but lacking facilities

The staff was really friendly.

The room was not clean, the walls were stained, towels were old and ripped up, the mattresses seemed worn out, and the bed sheets scratchy. The room had no windows, and every time you entered you could feel the humidity.

Lovely staff

Very nice hotel in great location within easy walking distance of the main square. Gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly during our whole stay. No problem changing room on arrival as safe not working. Large rooms. Good wifi.

Inclusive breakfast was very limited!

Beautiful place, excellent location, friendly staff, delicious food.

My room wasn’t very clean the last two days. I have long hair an I could see my heir all over the floor the last two days. The last day my towels in the bathroom were very old.

Very good

Beautiful colonial building. A short walk to all the sites in the historic central area of the city. We like being away for the super busyness of the central plaza so the location was perfect. Staff was attentive and kind.

The room was a little small for our family of four.

The parking is 4 blocks away. We were in a room on the first floor, and much of the night, we were awakened by very loud people. first, a group of people then, in the front area, from 3:30 AM until 4:30 people arguing. There is no window in the room, a small TV, no Netflix, a strange buzzing sound like a refrigerator running nearby.

Small but cozy hotel. Has a great location, everything is in a walking distance. Staff is very nice and always willing to help.

it was a nice, comfortable place to come back to after a long day of exploring and sightseeing.

Location was perfect — in a quiet part of town but within walking distance from the attractions. Nice and accommodating staff — always pleasant and willing to help. They even followed up with me when I informed them of an item we left behind and offered to send it to me.

Cosy, classical hotel in the city center. Close to some of the good restaurants and close to most of the central sights.

Parking is a bit tricky, especially when arriving at rush hour.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The location was good, the courtyard area was nice and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our was very small, smaller than what we thought we booked. Also, it was on the main level right off the kitchen and breakfast area, so it was noisy early in the morning. The towels were frayed.

The location was very convenient for walking to the center of town, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.

We were given a room that was on the ground floor. There were no windows, and there was noise starting early in the morning when they started breakfast preparations. The towels are old and frayed. The room was smaller than what was advertised.

The staff was very friendly and the location is good.

The internet was very bad and we never got any signal in the room, so having to go to the lobby to use it was very uncomfortable. Also, it was not possible to open the window, so the room felt kind of stale/hot without the AC all the time

We will not use this hotel again, and we do not recommend it to anyone

we were located just feet away from the truck in lobby and it was loud with people. It was also loud with airplanes flying over top. The TV didn’t work on day one and for the rest of this day we only had a few Spanish stations English stations. when we left the hotel, they offered us to call a taxi or use their free shuttle. We took the free shuttle, and the shuttle driver charged us 300 pesos a taxi was about 50 pesos. We will not be coming back here.

Oaxaca is a wonderful city and the stay at Las Mercedes helped to make our stay an excellent one.

the rooms and common areas are kept well maintained and clean. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. They even arranged a Covid test (to re-enter the US) for the day of our departure.

Everything was well kept. I only wish they had more visitors to make it more lively. The pandemic has been tough on the city.
