Room was clean and comfortable, however a little on the small side.
Elevator was unfortunately not in service, which was communicated to us before check in. Luckily not too many flights of stairs to climb.
8.0
Decent clean rooms at a decent price. Short walk to central or city.
Lift was down but they had porters to help. Hallways are random and spindly not much they can do about that haha
2.0
The rooms if clean were quite nice for the cost
My room had a rolled up chewy on top of the side of the bed.
The staff were okay
The elevator wasn’t working and I had to carry my luggage up 4 flights of stairs lol
5.0
The fittings of the interior lovely. They give a higher end look to budget accommodation.
TLDR
Reception staff were slow for checkin process that I waa almost late to my meeting, I asked them for water which they told me is a charge despite Veriu Green Square providing it free, the Receptionist ended up forgetting to give me water and no water in the rooms fridge, just an opened milk.
Micro rooms are very tiny you can hardly do a 360 turn in them, the drains in bathroom are designed for aesthetic not practically and they flood meaning one bathmat can only be used for 1 person on 1 shower.
Walls are thin and I couldn't sleep Because the neighbour was snoring!
Lifts are down for maintenance for "a few months" so if you have disability or get leg/back pain don't bother! Its not worth the saving. The floors are not marked or numbered which is a pain and the phone in room doesn't have reception number marked on it.
Stairs are croaky like an old pub and narrow so I felt I was gonna fall.
CASHLESS venue which is ridiculous considering cash is legal tender. Because they're unprofessional there's no signage of this advice until they reject your transaction.
The only good thing was a comfortable bed.

The colour pallet was great, very good use of limited space. Plenty of powerpoints, and great water pressure.
The couch could've been a touch smaller with no arms.

Location - easy to get around CBD and access to public transport. Staff at reception were extremely friendly
10.0
It was close to everything in the CBD including Central Station.
The room was very comfortable especially the bed and loved the shower.
I found it quite difficult to navigate the stairs as the lift wasn’t working.

Fantastic location and great value for money based on the room!

Roominess and comfort were excellent. Good view from windows.
Lift out of order. Bar area too crowded to enjoy Happy Hour.
8.0
Very central, comfortable bed, friendly staff.
The shower leaked water into the rest of the bathroom.
4.0
Great location. Bed was very comfortable, Smart TV with streaming app’s, water in shower was good. Most of the staff were lovely and apologetic when needed.
We have stayed here before, a few years ago, this stay was disappointing in comparison. We were on level 1, the lift was not operating properly and level 1 was not working. We had to use the stairs. We were offered to change levels however we were ok with stairs as we are young and we’re considerate of elderly/disabled persons. We were compensated with 2 glasses of wine for this inconvenience which was lovely.
The disappointing issues was that there were no bath towels provided or available at the premises for the first 24 hours, this was New Years Eve as well. This was inconvenient and shocking as it’s really the bare minimum as an expectation when paying for a hotel.
There was no quick call options for the room phone either which meant we had to go down to reception for assistance.
There was no shampoo or conditioner in our bottles which is also disappointing and inconvenient.
The room was clean and tidy which was good however the room smelt like bleach for the first day which was overpowering.
The wifi password we were provided also didn’t work. The reception there isn’t the best.
We also paid $80 in parking at the hotel but when we got to the pay station at the car park it said only $70 was outstanding.
It wasn’t worth the $1,500 we spent on 2 nights.
However it was still a nice experience and great location to especially for events in the city.
8.0
Friendly staff, convenient location, comfy beds
The lift was broken during our stay. The bathrooms are very cramped. The rooms and communal areas look tired and could do with a facelift.
7.0
Quality linen and finishes. Beds were extremely comfortable.
The price of the room considering the confined space. We understood that it was a busy weekend in the city.
7.0
Convenient location & relatively flat work from station. While rooms are small, overall decoration & furnishing good quality for price point. Comfy bed. Luggage storage & 24 hr reception great. Helpful front of house staff.
Not sure if whole of hotel feature or just my room, but there was no bedside lamp or light switch for lights near bed & no powerpoint. Although the hotel description clearly states there is a lift, hotel is in an older style building with split level floor. If you have accessibility requirements make sure you put them in your booking so you are not allocated a room that requires you to go up & down stairs.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and helpful, particularly Melanie from Germany, but also the other staff.
The room was a little bit dark and small.
