Nothing.
I stayed here just one night as I was passing through Mazatlan on my way north. I’ve been travelling through south and Central America for seven months and I can honestly say this was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in.
It is so outdated and very dirty. There was dust and dirt on the floors in the bathroom and the bedroom. The beds are hard. The linens are old. The towels are worn, and there are stains on the walls and floors.
The Wi-Fi is basically useless, the breakfast at 120 pesos was terrible .
There was loud music next-door, not that the hotel can control that, but it just adds to the whole unfortunate and sad state .

Great location, a short walk to the beach, on la zona dorada.
The hotel is not a 5 star hotel but it’s great for the price.

Inexpensive, convenient
The room was spare, and the bed was really squeaky. It provided us the function we needed..

I quite liked the location. there is a restaurant next door that has the best steaks and a live 70s rock band. It’s a short walk to the beach and there is a great bus system right outside the door.
The wifi system sucks. it rarely worked in my room.
It’s definitely a family place. The pool is always full of screaming kids having fun. If a quiet day tanning and reading your book is your thing. this is not the place. Having said that I did find a quiet hour once in a while.

the pool is heated, which is nice when the weather isn’t super hot.
The breakfast that came with our reservation had been advertised as “American Buffet”.
when we got there we discovered it was actually Mexican and 1 plate only. It was the same thing every day…for 10 days straight. Refried beans, scrambled eggs, and chips with salsa along with tortillas. It was plenty of food but after 3 days of eating the same thing for breakfast I couldn’t handle it. I found it was a pretty dense heartburn-inducing plate of food for me. It would have been nice to have a piece of fruit or maybe see a poached egg or a piece of toast, or even just something slightly different. Also the waiters expect to be tipped for serving the included breakfast, we noticed that the level of service declined significantly when we didn’t realize that tipping was expected after a few days.

the mattress was not very comfortable

The staff were all nice and smiled at you which means they probably like their jobs. Parking for my car off the street.
No internet signal the entire time I stayed. Construction of a high rise across the street from 7am-7pm. Toilet broke and started leaking all
over. They fixed it. Gaps in the doors and paper thin walls, can hear everything. Bar next door which
had live music most nights until late.

They had a great pool and outdoor sitting area. Loved the little rocking chairs outside each room upstairs.
Beds could have been more comfortable, and cleanliness a bit higher.
