Instructions were clear and keys were easy to locate. Communication was good. Breakfast provisions were excellent. Location was fabulous with a nearby supermarket and easy access to city. Location was quiet. Bed was good. Bathroom was great.

The cottage was incredibly cute, quaint, and cosy, with all the amenities you could ask for including full kitchen. The included breakfast was amazing. There was an endless source of entertainment including numerous books, CDs and DVDs. The location is brilliant, walking distance to the centre of town.

We loved the quirkiness of our cottage. It felt like we had stepped back in time but had all the mod cons. We loved the fireplace and the breakfast provided was huge. Even the sneaky port was exceptional.

The character & comfort, private location so much better than busy hotels. Nice to able to sit in a garden. Wonderful to see the preservation of Tasmanian history, something so worth keeping.
Everything met our requirements exceptionally well.

I liked everything, breakfast was delicious!

The breakfast basket in our fridge each day was delightful. The converted cottages have attention to detail and the theme of our English cottage was excellent. the wood fire in the sitting room was a bonus on the cold May evenings. The parking bay for each cottage was right outside the front door, so very handy for unloading luggage.

We stayed in the Camelot room and it was a good novelty experience for our last night in Tassie. A lot of thought and effort had obviously gone into putting this theme together. We particularly liked the knight helmet! The complimentary port, beer, ginger beer, cheese and crackers were a nice touch and we loved having a cozy fireplace. Breakfast was basic but had more than enough to feed us both.
There seemed to be a bit of a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning of the room. In the spa bath there were bits of grass, as though someone had cleaned their feet off in there and it wasn’t rinsed afterwards. In the kitchen we found a frying pan with the remnants (onion) of the previous visitor’s meal and that put us off using the pan altogether.

We loved the quirkiness of this character cottage. It was thoughtfully presented and the owners added lovely little touches and extras. The breakfast basket was substantial and lasted us 2 days, more was provided if required for further nights.

the vintage feel
the fact management wouldn’t let us swap our nights as some how or another we had the wrong date booked and just wanted a swap of nights and they refused, making us miss our friends n stay in Hobart and having to drive 2 hrs to Launceston after flighing

We stayed at English Cottage and enjoyed the feeling of 150 years ago. A wonderful presentation!
We were, however, able to clean at once the laundry that accumulated during the trip. It was great to be able to use the washing machine and dryer for free - that was a modern touch that was much appreciated.

Special touches like a welcome basket consisting of a beer, cider, biscuits and cheese. Also some port to warm the cockles.
Bed was very high

Loved the cute cottage to ourselves. Loved the fire set and ready to light. Loved the complimentary port. Loved the breakfast with everything we needed. Topped up daily. We had a great stay.
Bed was bit hard and high for me. Wish tv had apps so we could watch what we want. A coffee pod machine would have been perfect.
