Food was ok - staff nice in the restaurant!
I had emailed several times to organise a pick up in advance and they got it wrong in the email conversation and I corrected them and was promised that this now all booked correctly ! However on the day arrived we waited and waited ! I had to pay to activate my phone and call to find out that we have been forgotten! We waited longer than the whole flight took to the resort with small kids ! By then we missed the first feeling of Orangutans and as we only stayed for one night we had to make a choice for afternoon which monkeys to see ! As feeding all around the same time . We lost out !

The restaurant was excellent- some of the best Malaysian food I’ve had on the trip. The plunge pool was also a nice addition.
The rooms were over priced and badly constructed. It didn’t feel very clean.

Niente

The staff was amazing! They were incredibly nice and went out of their way to help make our stay wonderful. The little pool was just perfect. The dining area is very nice and relaxing. And the location is the best, there's wildlife at the resort, and the orangutan and sun bear conservation centers are 10 minutes away by foot. The reception also organizes other activities and they helped us reschedule some activities on the fly because of the weather and availability!
4.3
Beautiful surroundings, nice ambience, relaxing
The toilet in the restaurant area never had toilet paper in it and it smelt of wee, the floor was always wet
4.3
The staff was wonderful and could not have been friendlier. The food was also very tasty. It is an easy walk from the Sepilok Sanctuaries and set in calm and peaceful surroundings
4.3
Staff were really helpful arranging transportation at no additional cost and provide good information. Food was expensive but very tasty. Walkable to sun bear and orangutan centres. Good AC in the rooms. Free water bottle refills.
Our room had a very quirky bathroom. We made it work, but normal fixtures would be helpful. Our chalet also functioned with wooden bolts for the doors and only 1 key to the padlock. This can create issues if 2 people are doing different things (like 1 person goes out and 1 person wants a nap.) The dining area could use a few more fans - not all tables are equivalently cooled. Wifi only in the dining area.
4.3
Staff were amazing. Location was great.
Pool was full of bugs. The chalets could do with an update and try and block up some of the gaps in the wood. Outside shower crawling with ants so unable to use
4.3
The friendly staff and surroundings.
The breakfast was a little bit simple, but very tastfull :-)
4.3
Restaurant food was good.
Walking distance to Orangutans Rehab center.
Bed mattresses are old, pool towels need replacing. No shaded areas near plunge pool.
4.3
The food was good and the rooms were nice.
Mosquitoes everywhere, nowhere to buy insect repellant, tiny dipping pool, not much to do other than eat at the restaurant.
4.3
Amazing setting, really nicely designed and well spaced out cabins in huge grounds, great restaurant with a view and with delicious food. Lovely staff. Lots of animals and birds around. Great location. Pool, although small and shallow, was in lovely gardens and was nice to spend the afternoon cooling down in the pool with a drink.
They need to address the plumbing as there was quite an unpleasant smell the second night (maybe related to the fact that it rained that night). The bed was a bit creaky and not very sturdy.

it is beautifully laid out. Everything was clean and comfortable. the staff were superb. nothing was too much problem and they always had a smile on their face.
absolutely nothing!

Fabulous accommodation with the Jungle full of bird life & animals right outside my room. Very comfortable bed & lovely restaurant on-site. The outdoor shower was a treat.
No complaints ~ everything was wonderful.
4.3
the staff were really friendly and helpful.
the resort had a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with good facilities
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it, but one observation was that it would be nice to have more comfortable seating for the evening times.
there is outside comfy seats which is great for looking at the stars

Nice, quiet
One of the twin bed was not comfortable

We loved the extensive grounds which are on the edge of the forest. We saw an Orangutan next to our cabin foraging in a jack fruit tree and we could hear gibbons singing in the morning. There were birds everywhere. The lunch, dinner and cocktails in the restaurant were excellent and it was a good social meeting point. All the staff were very good and helpful. Aswon was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and always advised us of any wildlife in the grounds. He worked very hard serving us and had a great personality. The staff very kindly changed my room as I was not happy with my first location. It is 10 minutes walk to the Orangutan sanctuary but costs just 10 ringgit for a taxi.
The breakfast was not the best but was a typical standard Malay breakfast.

very lush, comfortable and welcoming, secluded cabins

fantastic restaurant - every item on menu tasty. great kind staff. rooms were clean, really is close to the sepilok reserves (just a walk away), and felt like it really was on the edge of a rainforest.
very nice property
4.3
lovely lodges; nice staff; walkable to main attractions; outdoor shower / bathroom; stunning grounds; great restaurant.
breakfast is serviceable but does not meet the high standards if the rest of the restaurant’s food.
4.3
A very good location if you would like to visit Orang Utan Sanctuary, Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, Rainforest Discovery Centre and Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary.
The room is not big, but enough for the night. The air conditioner works well. The balcony overlooks the jungle and you can watch the birds and squirrels. There is a shower inside and outside the room in a private area.
Nice restaurant with a view and pool nearby. The choice is not so big, but the food is delicious. A good breakfast is served in the morning.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can book a taxi for you to the Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. You can also find taxi drivers on the way to the Orang Utan Sanctuary and negotiate to them. Grab and InDriver don't perform well in this area, especially in the afternoon.
WiFi only works in the restaurant and reception.

The location was fantastic. Breakfast and the meals were good on one of the days of our stay. some of the staff were fantastic.
Room was very uncomfortable. Pillow like a brick, air conditioner only on or off, temperature control did nothing. On the second day no buffet breakfast, just a disappointing "English breakfast". Might have been different cooks as the meals we ordered the second day for lunch were not good at all.
4.3
Nature, location, very friendly staff, good good.
Mouses in the room.
4.3
A wonderful retreat in Sepilok! Close by to many sightseeing attractions, but still secluded enough for a relaxing stay in the rainforest and to enjoy seeing wild orangutans on the property!
It didn't greatly impact my stay, but it might be somewhat misleading that the pool area is for Glamping Vila guests only.
4.3
staff were really friendly & great to chat to, food was excellent- good variety to satisfy all dietary preferences (tasty cocktails too!) location, scenery, building structures & grounds were really well designed. Can see a lot of wildlife around.
Bungalows we’re clean, comfortable & constructed from local natural materials.
LOVE THE OUTDOOR SHOWER!!!!
Thanks to Ju, Wan & Ein for a really enjoyable stay - sorry for spelling ur names wrong 😂
