We had a great stay. It was a good central location. The spa bath was lovely. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a nights stay. Including ironing board, hairdryer etc. The electric blankets made for a great nights sleep and the place was very clean.

Good bed, clean and comfortable. Liked the snacks at the office and being able to help yourself to clean towels.
parking was quite tight

Great location to the city center and to restaurants.
Don't like that the outside lights are on all night making the units very bright when trying to sleep. Some of the beds are quite hard!!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful
It was untidy and the floor was not vacuumed.

Unfortunately, it was pouring with rain all night and there was a drain outside our bedroom and water was dripping very loudly all night. No one to contact about this or to fix the problem.

Fairly close to town
Not very clean. Someone had thrown coffee on the ceiling and it was still on the wall. One corner was coming apart.
one hand towel.
No spare toilet roll in unit

Spacious motels with good furnishings, very comfortable beds and good reading lights. good heating.
Shower over bath not really suitable for older clients, but shower did provide very good water flow. Unusual considering
rate charged that motel was not serviced daily, and guests had to go to office to collect towels, toilet paper, coffee etc if required.

Great location and spacious rooms
An outdoor seat or table would have been nice

Not very much.
In brief - don’t go there.
Spa bath not working properly - was told it was even though it blew out cold water from the jets.
Temperature of water only went to 40 degrees as advised by motelier. Meant shower was just adequate on full hot water to take a shower.
Motelier - very disappointing with her attitude and demeanour. Told us if she transferred us to another room that we would still not be happy so told us to seek other accommodation elsewhere.

Location was close to town and restaurants. Room was clean.
The room was clean but décor was sad, very out dated and the curtains were thin and worn in the freezing cold bedroom and musty smelling. The bed was ok but the pillows were so flat when we laid on them we may as well not have had anything. The bathroom was clean. There was a queen bed in the living/kitchen area so we slept in that with the heater on ( we stayed beginning May) as the room was really cold. We had an old lounge out the front of our room which I think belonged in the living area where the bed was inserted. The noise from the street was bad until about 11pm, we could also hear noise from the room above us. The cost was way too expensive for what we got - $339 for 2 nights.

Location
The noisy, partying people in the rooms all around us.

Location, helpful staff, clean, comfortable, Netflix available (although I didn’t use), decent value for money, you can take Coke cans/noodles etc as part of your stay from reception.
The lock to my particular room was a bit temperamental. No cleaner comes in throughout the day. You just have the room as is for the 3 day stay. Not sure what their policy was for longer stays.

Well sited for our visit: close to University, city centre, and main roads making getting around easy. Lots of eateries within walking distance, great parking, unit well set out with jug, cook top, microwave, toaster and tidy cutlery and crockery. Beds okay, shower good, room a good size. They're obviously renovating and updating.
Check-in was terrible, room was a little grubby - smeared windows and mirrors, quilts smelt smoky although linen etc very clean, "due to Covid" rooms weren't serviced so for our three night stay we had to replenish towels, toilet paper, etc ourselves, our unit was next to the laundry which was a bit noisy when hosts put machines on one evening, our hosts had a loud verbal exchange quite early one morning which woke us up. As part of the renovations, there was a stack of mattresses propped up against the next door units front door

As mentioned to the motel, the employees staying were on nightshift. They were rudely awaken and told to stand outside while their room is being cleaned. Every morning they had issues with staff LETTING themselves into the room while they were sleeping after a 14 hour shift. Each morning the staff would yell across the car park waking them up. There was also building works in progress, and no effort was made to accommodate the staff sleeping through the day away from the room being renovated. We find this absolutely discussing behaviour and a complete invasion of privacy. The staff were made to feel very uncomfortable.
Updated in response to the owners accusations of lying. We had actually booked and paid for the additional night as we knew the staff would not be out at 10am as per the check out rules. This become a free day as the staff left as soon as they could. We have zero intention to ever book with this motel again.
