Small room but modern and bright. Good bathroom. Helpful Reception staff. Perfect location for sightseeing, convenient parking. Only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay there longer.

Great location in downtown Reykjavik,
Nice staff,
Neat room, everything very clean and tidy- including the shared bathrooms! Also the shared kitchen is great, well equipped and clean.
Private parking included
It was a bit cold but after we turned on the heating it got worm in no time!

Location was good.Near Cafe Loki.
I didn’t like that my room was right next to the sidewalk. Sounded like people coming through my room. Didn’t try to change it, as I needed to be on the 1st floor because I had hurt my foot and found walking up/ down stairs rather hard.

The location was terrific, just a block away from the big church on the hill. Staff provided, on request, a room with only a few steps.

Loved the room with the toilet ensuite. I was also pretty surprised to see the shared kitchen where you can cook your meals etc, considering how expensive to eat out is.

The place is exceptionally clean. You can walk around in public areas wearing socks. Doesn't happen often

location was great. self check in was easy.
the bed was too short for a tall man (1.9M)

Perfect location. Walk to the downtown restaurants, church and tour bus stop. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was small and ventilation was not good. No table in the bedroom for laptop computer usage.

Excellent central location. Good choice for the buffet breakfast. Room was small but perfectly formed with arm chair (which was not provided in a less budget hotel I stayed at later in my holiday). All in all good value for the money.if you don,'t mind sharing a very clean bathroom
There was a slight sulphury smell in the room. Possibly from the hot water for the wash basin the room. I opened a window as the room was so cosy I wasn't too cold despite it being a snowy February night, and it was ok.

Great location beside church, really clean with good kitchen facilities and really helpful staff. Would stay again

Great location. Right beside bus stop 8 for excursions (fyi most excursions say hotel pick up which isn't correct they can't go down the small streets, so better to opt for bus stop 8). Can walk to/from BSI bus station in less than 10 min.
Room was lovely, beds were very comfortable. Room was spotless. Very little noise, apart from the church bells during the day. Hot water smells a bit but that's to be expected, it's always lovely and warm.
Can ask for extra towels or pillows.
Staff happy to ring for taxis which promptly arrive.
Minor things: The shower was a bit small, shower curtain sticks to you.
Few gaps in curtains, but there are blinds too.
Staff could have advised more about kitchen facilities at check in, would have been handy to know about fridge/ microwave /kettle/hotplate to sort lunches for going on excursions etc (some rooms have their own in room fridge)

Great location, warm rooms, very comfortable beds, great having the sink in each room. No issues with sharing the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped I was very impressed
Was hard to book in for breakfast the day before. Should tell customers how much notice they want to be prepared for breakfast

Room with view on the Hallgrímskirkja. Centrum of the city. Close from BSI.

Great place felt safe (solo traveler) clean, quiet I was on road side where I was overlooking the church (kept window open all night) really good heating as hot or as cool as you like, paid for private bathroom, can add breakfast if you want £13 but mini kitchen on each floor, fantastic location by church, bus stop for tours at church, close to Rainbow street, lots of bars and restaurants near by & short walk to downtown.
No kettle in room.

Guesthouse Sunna is really well located - within 100m from one of the main attractions in Reykjavik (Hallgrimskirkja) and right at the top of the street leading up to the church. There are many options to choose from in terms of restaurants, shops, etc. The guesthouse is all you need if you are looking for the best location in Reykjavik. The breakfast was also on par.

It is very convenient to walk to most attractions in the city. It is also located very close to some decent restaurants, bars and a club.
There is only one set of washing and drying machine in the building I was in. And you have to pay for the laundry. I will be nice if that fees could be just included in the overall room fees.

Excellent guesthouse right in the city center. You could access all shops, restraunts within a walking distance, and most importantly the number 8 stop is nearby. Our room was warm, cozy, quiet and spacious.
Actually some complimentary tea bags in the room would be nice, we had to go to the reception for them. It's just a bit inconvinient when you had to go downstairs and out of the building twice when you need to get to the reception.

There's so much to say... the staff were GREAT to allow for very early check-in for us (which they did not have to do), but as it was the low season, they had a room available. This was wonderful because after the 6-hour overnight flight and one-hour drive to the city from the airport, we really needed a nap!
OF NOTE: Only drink/cook with the COLD water, as it is fresh water. The hot water in the entire building has a sulphur scent to it because it is ALL-NATURAL GEOTHERMAL HOT SPRINGS WATER! Don't drink it, but SHOWER IN IT FOR SURE! Made my skin radiant and it was piping hot! It was like having your own private spa in your hotel!!!
Adequate work space, basin and VERY comfortable single beds in the room -- outside the room was a shared full kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and seating for four!
We did not have the breakfast, but I can say that if you intend on having it -- let them know IN ADVANCE -- they only prepare enough for confirmed parties. Not to fret -- just a few blocks up the street are many options.
The locks/door hardware was difficult to operate single-handedly. I feared in an emergency, this could hinder swift escape. PLAN AN ESCAPE and KNOW YOUR ESCAPE ROUTE -- they are not always as straight-forward as you think! One escape route for all went through our locked room. Just be aware and take notice BEFORE there is a problem.

Located exactly near the Hallgrímskirkja, cannot be better location to explore Rejkjavík’s city center. Extremely clean apartment with tasty breakfast. Highly recommend this place, will definitely visit again!
