The hotel is in a great location and the staff is lovely. Our room was huge and clean, with very high ceilings and large french doors opening onto a balcony. The restaurant downstairs is very good and, like the hotel, reasonably priced.
The mattress was quite hard and there was a lot of street/bar noise at night. The shower seemed to drain, in part, into the middle of the bathroom floor.

Everything was excellent :)
There doesn’t have toothbrush and shaving razor.

Location was as expected, in the middle of the area we wanted to be. We liked spaciousness of our room and hotel historical vibe. Service people were caring and responsive. Breakfast fresh and tasty. Sheets and towels excellent.
Our shower head was working great, but the shower pan spilled the water all over the floor, so it was wet after each shower. Bu it got cleaned every day by service people. Bed could be softer.

Just a few blocks from the Zocalo square, this hotel's staff manages to offer warmth and a very friendly attitude to its guests. While this was a one-day only stay, I would definitely come back....
No complaints. Had a pleasant stay. Airport transportation provided, also, so no complaints...

Such an amazing old place. I've stayed with them many times.

There is not parking in the hotel, but parking presents in the description. It is not true!

The hotel is old and it has its charm, also the location is in the historic city center. I loved big ceilings and spacious rooms.
Unfortunately the furniture and shower are pretty old, it is okay to stay in this place for several nights if you want to live close to the city center. However the worst thing was the huge cockroach in the bathroom that was hiding inside my towel. Unpleasant experience…

Very affordable for the location. Staff were very helpful. Shared bathrooms were clean with hot water. Room was spacious.
Mattress was not very comfortable. Be sure to bring earplugs as street and fan are noisy.

Good location, colonial architecture, balcony.
internet was weak and failed in the evenings.

The location is excellent. It was noisy but I faced a side street and knew this could happy so ear plugs saved the day. Loved how quaint it was - wooden floors, clean bathroom. The bed was not stellar but hey.....

Fantastic older hotel.
Very convenient location
My room was on the road side...extremely noisy.
Misquoted taxi fare so spent hours figuring out Metro.
Tried to put bar tab on room number or pay bar tab with card....but had to go restaurant to do this...weird

I had an interior room. It was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet. Street facing rooms may not be. The hotel is old and showing its age, but has character and is maintained. There is an attached restaurant and others close by. If your are looking to visit the historic center the location is within a reasonable short walk.
Nothing stands out. If the bed is comfortable and the room clean I am happy.

We liked everything about the hotel. The room was lovely – light and bright. The bed was comfortable. Exceptionally clean. We got two water bottles every day, which was unexpected but appreciated. The breakfast is enormous and delicious. There is a bar, which is very friendly, and convenient for just when you fancy a G+T! The location is perfect. Only a short walk to the main historic square and loads of shops and restaurants. There are lots of shops and bars around the hotel too. Sometimes at night we could hear the music from the bars, but it didn’t bother us at all. Lots of tour companies pick up from this hotel, which made life so much more convenient. We really couldn’t fault the hotel and if we go back to Mexico City we will stay here again.
Nothing. We couldn't fault the hotel

Good location and large room.
It was very noisy on the night of Friday and Saturday.

close to centre and easy walking to many sights, markets and parks
depending on the time of day hot water could be tepid
rooms facing the street are noisy - buses running until late and music from somewhere until late
