the staff is amazing! good value for money, great location. I think it's a great place to meet people and plan your journey in Fiji.

Good location, walking distance from the beach
Bed bugs!!! Really gross. No kitchen and bad quality shower. Staff play really loud music until the early hours of the morning.
Also front desk staff try to pressure people in booking their entire stay on the islands through them.

The staff plays the guitar and they sing. They integrate you into the round and they offer you kava and you learn about their culture. my room was comfortable. Good place for do excursions

The aircon en-suite room 16. It will do for the price. Very basic.
The curtains don’t cover to the end of the window so anyone can peep through the side and see clearly through. The toilet pipe bit exposed in the ceiling above the bed. Every time someone flushed, you could hear toilet water going through. I kept thinking it could leak any minute.

Beachfront, tours easily organized, relaxing vibe, kava circle with singing, friendly welcoming staff who organized everything for me on short notice.
More communication about pricing and timing of tours.

It is very near restaurants and the beach.
The staff all of them are amazing!
Shout out to Rosie and Mary.. thank you!
The facilities are needing so much improvement. The water in the shower is going everywhere. I rented a private room and the window glass is broken.

It is well located close to other hostels, restaurants, bars and a supermarket. The facilities are fair enough; and clean. 20$ to get to the airport which is 20 minutes away
Close to bars and restaurants, so it can be slightly noisy in the night. The closest beach (2 minutes walking) is not nice

Cheap for one night accommodation, close to boat transfer out to island.
When I stayed here four years ago it was a part of the restaurant, it now has a different feel. Less active

Location was great. Nearby restaurants and cafes great.
Room 15 bathroom floor tiles constantly leaking and flooded with water.

Close to the sea to watch beautiful sunsets. The staff were friendly.
I appreciated the free wifi too.
I found the location so unbelievably noisy. I had trouble sleeping both nights.
From the blasting music, the noisy chatter and laughter right outside my window, the dogs barking, big noisy buses outside my window, and the banging upstairs…. I didn’t sleep well at all. All of that noise finished after midnight, and then started again around 5am.
There was also a constant water dripping that I could NOT stop from the shower. So the bathroom floor and mat was soaked as the water drips bounced up off the tiles.
A small bar fridge would also have been appreciated.
I also wasted half an hr trying to turn the fan off with the dial close to the door. Then I discovered after giving up and getting into bed that the fan control is now on the wall. Perhaps get rid of the old, broken dial then, or at least a sign to say don’t use.

staff, location & good value for the money
ac next to the room was very loud & hot, we had a room without an ac which made it a little bad

Good location, beach, restaurants and supermarket closeby. Easy to take a taxi to the city centre. Friendly staff.
A lot of mosquitoes because the room has a big open area.

location was awesome but the reception staff Elenoa, was amazing! EVERY business needs an Elenoa! She made me feel welcome and special. the property is great but Elenoa is the best part of the experience by far!
mind you I was warned, the night club across the street very loud and late. so if you are a light sleeper think twice but for me it did not out weight one block to the beach and 2 blocks to a store as well as 5 very nice restaurants.

The staff were friendly and helped us carry our bags. The location is fairly good as there is two nice restaurants within walking distance (Wailoaloa beach club and Olive Tree) and a supermarket. It's close to Port Denarau so easy to arrange hotel pickups if you are doing day trips to some islands, which is why we stayed here. It's also very cheap.
The room was unclean. There was bugs on the bed when we arrived and throughout. There was stains all over the bedsheets. Only one towel was provided for a double room. There is no air con, only a fan in the room which wasn't great. There was only a thin curtain loosely held to cover the window, if the fan was on, this would blow and basically uncover the window so anybody could see in. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, you have to stand outside to connect to it and even then it only works sometimes. There was another Wi-Fi connection which we could have connected to, it needed a login which I requested from the staff but the guy literally couldn't remember the password. Maybe write it down!

Wailoaloa is a great location either side of a flight and there are heaps of options for eating, plus a beautiful and quiet beach. Particularly recommend Beach Escape for dinner at the moment (just opposite) as they have a great new chef/owner.
Can't complain but it's what you expect for the price. A box of a room, a bit noisy at night, and with a bright light just outside the window all night. Perfect when you fly in at 9pm and leave at 5am the next day!

Staff were very kind. Very close to a beach. Surrounded by many restaurants and bars.
Could be cleaner.

the staff: particularly Marek, Maria & Peter- who were lovely
cockroaches in room, having to walk in the dark to another property after check in, and find the room up a dark staircase
