What a DUMP!!! Our taxi driver said it was the worst one in the area.

laundry hanging all over the pool area and grounds,sesspool of alge and polluted water next to pool,towels were so worn out and old i would use them for rags,very loud area with planes and people yelling all night,large aggressive dog packs through out the area barking and howling all night,could not get to sleep.no shampoo,old beat up night stand and closet was only furniture, room was tiny only10'x10' with multiple imperfections in construction,curtains didnt match ,were stained and looked like they just got pulled out of a bag,big spider in corner of bathroom,no hot water,had to take cold shower,no mini fridge,coffee,or microwave and the light fixtures were filled with dead bugs.Other than that it was great! Lol

Cheap hostel, misleading pics

The staff are delightful here, it was affordable

This is a hostel, not a lodge or hotel. The photos are all quite old, the place is beat up and fairly run down. None of the nice patio or poolside furniture exists anymore. It is good value if you want a super cheap place, but photos make it look really nice, and this is very misleading

Pay slightly more for a nicer place

Nice staff! Lovely places to eat nearby if you are staying for one night due to an airport layover.

Luckily we had read recent reviews before arriving, but it is very run down. There was mould on the door, the bathroom and shower stunk of vomit, and it was all round run down and in need of some serious renovations. Wifi didn't work in the rooms, only in the reception.

Definately recommended

Close to beach, city and airport, everything you need around, like supermarket, restaurants, bars and tour providers. Very helpful, friendly staff. Great place to get in contact with other people. When staying around Nadi as a backpacker probably the best option

Limited possibilities to prepare own meals. Certain walk in or around the house to go to bathroom from dormitory, which is not comfortable when waking up for bathroom use at night. All other aspects positive

Disappointing

Good price.

It is kinda annoying when staff is doing a party with guests at the hostel while other guests want to sleep at night. I mean it should be on the interest of the staff to keep noise level down at night and NOT to pull the noise up! Wont recommend.

cheap and cheerful option for a short stay

good value for a night, very helpful owner who advised us where to go to but some emergency clothes after a delayed baggage incident!

We booked two rooms which unfortunately were on different floors so that was a bit of a pain (fine for one night though)

Pools super nice to chill at, staff will make you feel like your at home home. I keep coming to this hostel after traveling different parts of Fiji honestly the best place in nadi (maybe Fiji) biggest backpackers vibes

be prepared for a simple backpacker-style accommodation that has friendly staff but is rough around the edges.

great place for backpackers. staff very friendly. good price. air conditioned. beach is nearby and several restaurant choices are walkable.

not so good for families: blood stain on sheets, no towels ready/dry upon arrival, pool was inoperable and a frightening green color, hallway walls dented/dirty, hole in ceiling above stairwell, and some guests partying with Bluetooth speakers in the lobby late into the night.

Cheap, cheerful, absolutely no frills!

Cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for - no frills, very basic. Most people are simply staying their one obligatory night in Nadi prior to heading off in further Fiji adventures or heading to the airport following their previous adventures so it’s clearly a great stopping point for a night.

Very good

Exceptionally helpful staff, comfortable beds with good air con in the bedroom. There are plenty of resorts, a supermarket and a choice of places to eat in the vicinity. It's close to the beach.

I didn't like the location. I did not check the distances carefully enough before booking, and found it's quite far away from everything I wanted. There were supposed to be hourly buses, but I never saw any. For booked activities, they will collect you.

AVOID!!!! Extremely dirty!

The staff get people to pay more through them for activities and taxis. Taxi to the airport cost 12$(With the meter) and if you ask aggi you have to pay 20$. I had a lot of problems with them! I booked directly for one night and then was told by aggi “who do you think you are to ask for bottom bed”. I had two other bookings with them on two other occasions and on each I put the same request! Sure no problem if not available but this wasn’t the case. They simply messed up! And I do have a reason why I can’t be on top bed! When other problems occurred, in Taveuni island, where I had accommodation through Aggi, do not count she will help you. She’s Never available to call back when you need it or tell you, it’s between you and them! Plus, they (in Taveuni) will try to scam you on every single thing! Do NOT recommend this Bamboo or Blue Lodge (BTW this is the same thing!, same place)! Smuggles (100m nearby) is much better and only few $ more but so much worth it! I stayed there for one night in between and loved it! One thing I learned in Bamboo: NEVER PAY IN ADVANCE!!!!! Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. It’s like no one cleaned it for days. I was there for 2-3nights and it was never cleaned! There’s no kitchen or even a kettle so you won’t be able to make your coffee! However, I found mattresses very comfortable, surprisingly.

Good cheap accomodation

Staff very friendly, good restaurant across the road with nice well priced food. Was more like a backpackers than a hotel. Short walk to catch the transfer to Denerau.
