Fijian people are the kindest in the world, and the B&B was no different. We arrived there on Sunday around 1:30 pm, and they prepared a Sunday lunch to interact with the guests. We had lunch with them, and the food was absolutely delicious. The room was very simple but clean (with air conditioning, which was perfect) and felt like home. We only stayed for one night, but it was great!

The location to the airport, beach, public transport and town. Nice casual area out the front to relax. Air conditioning in the room. Close to affordable restaurants and supermarket. Staff were friendly and approachable and responded to any concerns - such as noisy guests late at night and shower breakdowns. Free wifi. Nice fresh sweet local fruit for breakfast. Tea and coffee available; use of the fridge to store cold soda cans. Neat gardens and grounds. Very relaxed atmosphere.
A disastrous first night with a loud group in the room next to me. Started with music, talking and laughter at 9:30pm that continued until 2:20am, until I messaged staff again saying I still cannot sleep. The group were moved into another section the next day. Use of hard cushions instead of proper pillows. Shower kept breaking down. No lamp next to the bed. No fire evacuation information posted in the room nor guest rules about noise levels, etc. Very grubby power switches throughout. Needs more general maintenance. Wifi doesn’t reach the rooms. A booster in the accommodation area is needed, as it is only accessible outside on the deck. No bench table in room to lay open suitcase on.

It’s very clean and the staff are so helpful and welcoming. It was very convenient for an overnight between visiting the islands and flying out. Close to the bars and restaurants in Wailoloa.
Make sure you’re home before the gate is locked in the night.

Great hostel style hotel accommodation with various room types located only 5 mins from supermarket and Wailoaloa beach! This family run bed and breakfast is only 10 mins from the airport and when you arrive the warmest smiles and wonderful greeting you receive from family members Emma, Knox, Tai, Emly and Sala who make you feel very special and are so happy to welcome you to their beautiful country. From the first instance, you are treated like family and will share many laughs and exceptional food cooked by Knox and Emma with the help of Tai! Meals are communal and talking with other guests and socialising so you are always included and can share your Fijian experiences with others. Wonderful harmonious place 5 mins from the beach where you can enjoy cocktails at the various hotel bars in the area. Owners Mary and Ru with their gorgeous family including Willy, Fanee and the grandkids make this place truly unique and special!

This place and the family who run it are the perfect example of what I love about Fiji and its people. They instantly welcome you into their family and treat you like you are one of them. I kept extending my stay and am also going back there in a week - that says it all!
I have stayed in the dorm room as well as one of the private (double) rooms. Both had air con, ceiling fans and very cosy beds. I also feel that the value for money is excellent, especially with the included breakfast which is always delicious with an omelette, bacon (if you eat meat), and very fresh fruits. There are several bars/restaurants, a supermarket and an ATM within a short walking distance.
Only one minor thing: the WiFi doesn't reach some of the private rooms. It works great in the communal areas and the dorm however!

Dirty room/living/kitchen/bathroom. Big hole in the blanket that was possibly from a rat/mouse! Water wouldn’t drain in the bathroom sink, not a single hook/rack for towels/clothes.

Einfache saubere Unterkunft. Hatte ein Doppelzimmer mit Klimaanlage für mich alleine, war für eine Nacht völlig ok.

I can’t think of anything.

It was good to have breakfast on site - reasonable selection. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The private room with ensuite was a nice size and quiet for sleeping.
The bed was a bit hard for sleeping and there was inconsistent hot water for showering. Unit was a bit run down and in need of some attention.

Tout était parfait, la chambre, le petit déjeuné, le personnel, la propreté, etc

Staff was lovely and felt safe
The rooms near the kitchen do get a lot of noise in the morning especially with an early breakfast start

Location was perfect. Beautiful sunset from the second floor balcony.
It needs kitchen supplies in upstairs kitchen but you can ask for anything you need and they will provide it

BREAKFAST!!!!! amazingly yummy home cooked brekky! Nox was friendly and quite witty which i loved!
Air conditioned room which was very helpful!
Lovely guests who were up for a chat too!!
And the shower was DI-VINE!! Loved every second in that shower ❤️
Overall for an overnight stay it ticked the box!
In a good area if you want to walk on the beach and grab some food!!
The homely vibes you get from the place really allowed you to overlook the downfalls!!
Unfortunately the air-conditioner kept making a knocking noise so it kept us up throughout the night (rm 13). We wish the ceiling fan was in use because it really would've helped! Mozzies were on the attack so we couldnt stay outside in the common area for too long.
The bed was unfortunately quite uncomfortable and i think it was due to lack of pillows. One pillow each! But presentation was lovely!

Good position, very friendly staff. The apartment was very big and well furnished. Nice veranda
There wasn’t a washing line and it would have been handy

I was picked up at the airport and brought to Ideal bed and breakfast. I immediately felt at home and was welcomed like family. Room was good, air cond was fantastic. Meals were delicious, Tea time snacks were a highlight.
They helped me arrange trips, transport etc.
Fantastic vibe at this place, the family here are just wonderful.
I would have loved a chair in my room or a nightstand beside the bed. But overall the room was great

Great location, very short walk to Wailoaloa back and nearby bars and restaurants. Also about 15mins from Nadi airport. Staff were so friendly and welcoming.
I was in a room that had a shared bathroom, which I’m normally totally ok with. However, the way they have it, when one room uses the bathroom they can lock the other rooms out from the inside. They kept forgetting to unlock my door to the bathroom and I had to brush my teeth in the communal kitchen and also made me nervous as I had food poisoning later that night. I recommend putting a sign on each door to remind the user to unlock the other rooms door as they leave.

Sehr gut gefallen!

Liked that it was in walking distance to beach and a couple places to eat.
Almost everything. Some of the staff seem to have no idea what’s going on, very rude, and felt like they were constantly scamming us to make a quick buck. Knox was nice and accommodating but if you encounter Paul, stay very far away.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Very good location for tours pick ups, restaurants and supermarket nearby, ideal if you like walking on the beach (very close)
The timing for breakfast was unclear, and even if you agreed on a certain time the day before, they wouldn't be ready to provide it. Maybe just have a back-up if you have a scheduled activity.

The Olive restaurant nearby.
We are frequent travelers, but we have never encountered a worse value for money than in this accommodation. Upon arrival, they forgot to pick us up from the airport, leaving us waiting for 40 minutes and making jokes about it. Every day at breakfast, they forgot that we are vegetarians and simply reduced the breakfast by removing the meat, without offering any vegetarian alternatives. There was no variety in the breakfast, just eggs every day. The rooms were the dirtiest we have seen in all of Fiji, with dead cockroaches in the closets and live ones in the bathroom and bedroom. So basically you are better off not looking inside any cabinet. The windows couldn't be closed, allowing mosquitoes to enter the room.
During our entire 6-night stay, there was no room service offered from their side. Despite our repeated request we ended up changing the bed linens ourselves since they did not finish before evening. Instead of cleaning the rooms, the staff seemed to prefer afternoon naps. The attitude of the family running this accommodation was confrontational and falsely friendly, and they made it clear that they were annoyed. The kitchen was unusable due to its filth and no utensils at all. The mattress had disgusting stains.
To make matters worse, this was the most expensive accommodation in all of Fiji.

We are retun customers. The place has been significantly improved since our last visit. Great atmosphere, helpful staff. Comfy rooms

Stayed here twice, one night each time. They kindly let us store our bags for a couple of days while we went to the Yasawas. The location is very convenient, 15 min drive from the airport (taxi will be 15-20 dollars on the meter and very easy to get), 2 steps away from the stop of the ferry shuttle bus, next to a supermarket and several restaurants. Both rooms we stayed at were clean, with comfortable beds. They serve eggs and toast for breakfast in the morning, on Sunday offer complimentary lunch (not veggie-friendly, sadly), and there's free drinking water and hot water for tea or coffee available all day in the shared space under the roof. The aircon in the private rooms worked well. Staff were friendly. Overall a good and comfortable experience.
It would be great if they could install mosquito nets over the beds, in addition to the nets in the windows.

Location was fine
After five weeks in Japan I had to travel to Fiji to end up paying 50% more of what I paid on average in Japan and stay in the worst accommodation of the entire trip. My room was in the staff's building. I had to share the bathroom with them, which wouldn't have been a problem if it was just barely clean. No one were flushing the toiled and there were traces of blood as well. Shower was just a trickle. I'm definitely not fussy, but there's a limit... Staff have been drinking all day, there was no key for my bedroom and no AC remote. Asked for it, but didn't get it Shuttle service is more expensive than taxis. In case you check out early in the morning, you won't get breakfast, even if you've paid for it and you're been told that something will be available for you. On top of that, I've also paid for such experience 10FJD more than other guests.

Well located to catch bus to Port Denauru.
Very noisy- difficult to sleep. Staff and visitors talking right outside our window until after midnight.

The location was excellent and the staff were super friendly! Not only did they help arrange transportation, tours, etc., they treated guests like family and helped create a little home away from home for travelers. I stayed there two separate times during my trip to Fiji (4 nights total), and would definitely recommend to others, especially those traveling alone that would like some extra company during their travels!
The wifi was in and out, but the staff did their best to reset it when it wasn't working. Overall, not having consistent wifi wasn't a huge deal since I wasn't working.
