The location is great if you are looking for a quieter place in a natural setting. It is about 7km away from Fortuna, which can easily be reached by Uber (5-10USD). The wooden cabins are spacious and built so that you do not get disturbed by your neighbours. There is a little veranda in front of each cabin from where you can already observe various birds. The property is quite large and has a small path which leads through secondary forest. There is a normal pool and 3 hot springs with mineral water, which are nicely integrated into the garden. Since it was in the rainy season I was mostly alone when soaking in one of the hot pools. Your skin feels all soft afterwards and the water has other health benefits.
Apart from many bird species there is also a sloth (!) hanging out in one of the trees close to the host springs, butterflies, lizards, and there is also a small pond where it is apparently possible to see frogs at night, but which I missed.
The staff is very nice and helpful and can organize tours and transport.
In summary, a little paradise!
nothing major really. Maybe the fact that it was possible to hear the traffic from the main road at times (in a distance). The food including breakfast is good, but don't expect a 5 star menu ;-)

The staff here were lovely. The gardens are huge and full of wildlife. The hot springs and pool are excellent. Beautiful view of the volcano when the cloud lifted.

La habitación cómoda y la piscina de agua fría. Que aceptan masco
La comida es regular y las aguas termales se ven descuidadas.

Lovely hotel with great staff and a real treat to have private hot springs within the hotel grounds.
It was really great no complaints.

The hot springs only.

Pool area lovely and refreshing.

Saw 3 sloths, toucans, iguanas, armadillos on property!

Nice, confortable and very clean. We will stay here again.
The Hot Springs were not very nice. It had a lot of things around that didn’t make for good picture.
4.2
The land is beautiful and the individual cabins are nicely spaced about the property.
The hot spring pools were very relaxing.
4.2
Quality welcoming and helpful staff, amazing views of the volcano
Delicious breakfast
The mineral pools were not all full first day, filled thereafter for the weekend

location was good, nice property , beautiful plants and birds everywhere.
felt like being at a sleep away camp. Very rustic accommodations. Huge open gaps in building.
4.2
Staff were extremely attentive. Lovely, quiet setting overlooking the volcano. Excellent breakfast. My dog felt right at home here… lots of outdoor space to enjoy!
The property is aging and needs a make over… if this doesn’t matter to you, you will enjoy your stay! Still recommend it for everything else.

Location and room was pleasant
The hot springs pool is very unpleasant.

Relaxing, beautiful setting and amenities that are now showing their age and exceptional landscaping with awesome view of the volcano. The desk, restaurant and facilities staff were wonderful.
somewhat limited menu

Rooms are a bit dated, but offer a great size and comfort. It has an 80s cabin in the woods vibe. Staff is excellent and the hot springs are relaxing.
The air conditioning unit was old, loud, and finicky. My experience would be near perfect otherwise.
4.2
We like that the grounds of the hotel were well kept and staff were mostly friendly.
We didn't like the rooms much as they were old and need renovations. The mattress on our bed was very soft and old and the bed toppings on the other beds had stains on them. LIght switches in the bathroom would be nice. Breakfast was ok but menu was not always available and the breakfast waiter never smiled he seemed to hate his job.
4.2
Very Costarican, good!
The view of the ARENAL VOLCANO!

the air conditioning didn’t work that good.

The location of this hotel is about 5-10 mins drive outside of the main La Fortuna town and is about about half way between the town and the hanging bridges and the volcano hiking. The hotel grounds are lovely and the view of the volcano are really good. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but more than enough, although they did run out of cereal the one day.
We made good use of the hot spring pools. There were three pools that had different temperatures and so if the one was too hot you could move to another, there is also a normal pool where the water is warm. You are provided with pool towels.
We did try out the free hot water river spring, which is about 5 mins away, and while it was nice it was crowded and we were glad to have had both experiences.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on the first night - again the menu is simple but the food was good and plentiful.
The hotel also did provide free snacks and water (from a cooler) at reception which was good for us.
Our family room was upgraded for free, which was really nice, but it does make me wonder what the standard room was like as I would have said that the room we got was about right as a standard room. It was big enough for 5 of us, had a large bathroom and was clean, but was quite simple.

Rooms were comfortable with an excellent view of the volcano. Having an A/C was great!
The swimming pool was small but clean and well maintained and very attractive after a long day hiking.
It was nice to have access to hot springs within the property.
The staff was very nice and always attentive to our needs.
Overall the hotel was well maintained, cleaned and with a welcoming atmosphere.
Wifi signal was spotty, otherwise a great place to considered if you plan to visit la Fortuna
4.2
Wonderful location -near to La Fortuna but a calm oasis. Beautiful spacious rooms with plenty of room for a family of 4 and kind and friendly staff. Good breakfast and reasonably priced evening meal. Loved the view of volcano from our room.
4.2
Great property and real good value. would definitely stay here again
4.2
The cabana was very nice, spacious, huge bed plus an extra bed, and it had its own little terrace.
The location all in all is very touristy as it is close to the volcano. Very good views from the property though.
4.2
The beds were soft. Shower was big. Window in room 8 had a good view of the trees. Staff was accommodating.
when we arrived only one spring was full of water, it was hot. The food was not good very basic no flavor. Blow dryer was very weak. The AC barely worked. Lights we not working or missing light bulbs. Stairs into cabin were not safe. The really need to update.

The staff was friendly and helpful when putting a request, such as to turn on the water pumps at the hot spring. Everthing else as pretty typical for the area, the price for what you get nothing should be a real surprise. For about half of what other places cost you can see where this place tries to save here and there.
They would literally turn off the pumps for the hotspring pools so i would have to call so get them turned on and wait for the pool to start circulating water again. Otherwise the water as stagnent, oils layering the top and mosquitos everywhere, all solvd hen the pump was running.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Towels and sheets smelled fresh and clean. Floors were spotless. Location was wonderful falling asleep and waking up to the jungle sounds.
Mineral spring times were inconvenient and we caught it on a cleaning day so it was too hot to enter for quite a few hours.

I really loved staying here 😁 and I saw so many Beautiful birds
