The room is perfect, everything is new, clean and comfortable. Nice view, great location. There is a convenience store a couple feet away if you need anything. The hotel is located right near the old city, plenty of restaurants and cafes near by. I will stay again.

The MAZ was close to all the shops, restaurants and sites of the old city. It was a great base to tour Jerusalem
The room could have been a little bigger!

Brilliant location: very easy to get to with a tram from the Central Railway Station (5 stops, getting out at City Hall, then 5 mins down the street). Only 5-10 minutes walk to the Old City (Jaffa and New gate). Clean and tidy.

Great location, a few minutes away from Jaffa gate. The place was clean and the bathroom was recently renewed.
The whole atmosphere of the MAZE is a little run-down.
3.5 / 5.0
Location was very good, above expectation. The room was spacious , although the bathroom could be cleaner.
This is a completely staff-less hotel, and booking.com should mention this more prominently. That type of stay should be listed as a separate category, so people know what to expect. I had hard tome trying to find how to enter it, and had to rely on shopkeepers around the area to point this out.

we stayed 3 nights and we definitely will be back again here if we will be in Jerusalem. you have got all the facilities in the room as well as a cooler to refill your water bottle or the Nespresso coffee machine for the morning or boiler to make hot water/tea. the location is great, very central and close to the main sightseeings - also the area in general is very nice, full of tiny restaurants / cafes. the staff was friendly and available from day 0, therefore thank you so much for making this staying great!

location was good and reasonably priced
lack of cleanliness, saw bed bugs and the room not cleaned during the stay. The staff member in the hotel was rude with racial and aggressive behaviour. Did not feel safe during the stay.

Location is so perfect
Not good if you have big luggages and your room is at the top floor.

The location
The air conditioning remote control wasn't working. My first 3 nights was very uncomfortable.
They not clean your room during your stay. They just come to yr room for fresh towels.
No microwave at the hotel.

Very clean, easy, clear check in instructions, nice sized room at a very reasonable rate. There was coffee and water on the main floor (no milk though). Hot water shower, ac works, great location near to markets and old city.
Would've liked milk at the coffee spot, but free coffee and water was great as is.

Near old town
Pokey, dirty, poorly maintained, A firetrap- still not sure where the fire stairs are; NO STAFF - this appears to be a cheap operation saving by having no reception - various codes are provided for various doors- don't forget then or you'll never get into your room again because there is NOONE available to assist.

We didn't have breakfast there. The location is ideal for Jerusalem. We never met any personal but received all the info by email and all communication was by email.
We just couldn't regulate the A/C and it was very cold.

The location is really great: near to the city center and to the old city. The room was clean and I had a nice view over the YMCA tower. There is no reception so I did self check-in and check-out but the staff was readily available (by phone and through booking) for everything I needed.
The room was quite small and the bathroom door was a little transparent and didn't fully close. If you travel alone is fine but in two can be a little annoying. It would have been nice if in the common kitchen also a few small snacks (e.g., cookies) would have been provided with the coffee

Conveniently located near to the places we're interested in. Very accommodating on our very late check in due to our flight. Was able to be assisted in getting information.
Location of the sink was a little cramped tucked into the corner.
