If you are wanting to get away from it all , then this is the place

Our host was amazing, lovely continental breakfast with freshly brewed coffee. Nothing was a problem, happy to chat with you and gave us great dinner recommendations. The driveway up to the property is quite long and crosses over a working farm (definitely better in a high vehicle) you really do feel away from it all nestled in the rainforest.

I found the room a little chilly, although it did have a oil heater. The bathroom was recently renovated and was lovely but cold under foot on the tiles. Slippers recommended. Would if been better if there was a bathroom heater and heated towel rail. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs as you can hear talking in the next room.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday

It is a very quiet accomondation in the middle of the rain forest. The owners are welcoming people who made our stay very comfortable and enjoable. We had no time for the walk but this would be a "must do" for next time.

Loved the views. The retreat is nestled in gorgeous gardens and makes you feel relaxed. Samara greeted us and was wonderful to communicate with. The room was spacious we couldn't have asked for more.

Nice bmb if you want some peace and quiet

Secluded location was great

It's not a hotel.. it's a bnb at best. Weird setup. They don't even have eftpos.

I loved it here, and I seriously considered staying an extra night.

The location was simply wonderful. So incredibly quiet and peaceful. Having the place to myself was a bonus. the purpose was to have time out and just relax which is exactly what I did.

A spa bath in my room would have been nice :) but the shower was awesome.

It was a good stay

Host lady and her son were very welcoming. They were very friendly and kind hearted.its 2 km off the main road. 2 km long driveway. And boy was waiting for us on main road to give us direction. So very helpful. House is located in a piece full environment. So I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing quiet and away from the City hustle in a farm with great bush walks, suitable with Kids.

The staff (Samara & Emanuel) were exceptional to listen, understand our requirements and ensure they were accommodated. The property is at least 2 Kms inside from the main road, but it has great views and access to its own bush walks.

Excellent bed and breakfast, highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Patuha Lodge. The hosts are very welcoming and attentive and the property is beautiful. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

The property is accessed via a farm track, so could be slow going or difficult for very low vehicles.

Nice clean stay that had lovely outlook.

Breakfast had everything you needed . Willing to get stuff if not there as my boy only liked cornflakes the next day they were available. Rooms clean and very quiet.

If there was a microwave available on the hallway kitchenette If all bush walks were sign posted to where walk begin.

We loved our stay at Patuha Lodge. Had a beautiful evening at the fireplace. It is very nice and quiet at the property. The beds are comfortable and we had an excellent sleep. Thank you to Samara and her son for the hospitality!

An unprecedented experience!

- Warm hospitality by the host - Made us feel special and valued - Very interactive, helpful and accommodating - Serene and secluded location - Healthy and Hearty Breakfast - Cosy, Spacious and Tidy rooms

- Room door locking mechanism - Lack of room amenities e.g. tea and coffee unit, heaters, covered bins. - More storage units like cupboards or chest drawers.

Extremely comfortable beds and lovely country location.

Extra comfortable bed and super quiet location. Loved the breakfast - good selection and lovely dining room. The room was super clean and we received a warm welcome even though we arrived quite late at night after getting a little lost on the way there in the dark!

The host was fantastic super friendly and helpful,the room was super clean and everything was on hand snow white fresh linen every night.we stayed 6 nights.very comfortable surroundings and friendly.breakfast was fantastic.thankyou sally.ideal spot to explore gardens and mt taranaki district.
