Nice hotel in great location

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere in the lobby and restaurant areas. Breakfast was great with large selection. Room was nice despite lacking window. Free cocktail and snack (chips/fries) each evening at the rooftop bar was a lovely touch. The massages in the spa were also great and reasonably priced.

Room had no window and when we asked to upgrade at the cost visible online, we were quoted three times the price which felt unfair. Thin walls between rooms, woke up to neighbours talking and using shower etc. during night. Use of vouchers to have breakfast felt unnecessary, we had to go back to our room to find the correctly dated one which wasted time - suggest just take room numbers like most hotels.

Not recommended

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Upon entering my room, there was a strong moldy smell in the air, which made the space uncomfortable and unpleasant. When I approached the staff to request a solution, they were unhelpful and refused to cancel my reservation or move me to another room without an additional charge. The lack of willingness to address the issue or provide reasonable assistance was extremely frustrating. Additionally, the breakfast was poorly managed—you had to wait a long time for the buffet to be refilled, which made the experience even more disappointing. To add to this, the hotel required a deposit as a guarantee, which was not made clear beforehand, no other hotel in Vietnam had such a request. While the location is central, the overall experience was not worth it. I would not recommend staying here if cleanliness, quality, and customer service are important to you.”

Pk family vietnam tour

Location is best in centre of city near benh tanh Market and othe shoping area. Food options available nearby including vegetarian restaurant and Indian food at walking distance. But staff not cooperating with tourist looking arrogant. Otherwise good stay. Rooms smaller without windows and gallary. All in all good to stay in city centre Thanks Kandarp Ahmedabad India

Perfect!!!

The room was spotless, and the bed was comfy with high-quality bedding. The staff was friendly and helpful. I checked in early, the room wasn't ready, but Thuy Tien (the receptionist) told me that I could use the pool/sauna/jacuzzi on the rooftop while waiting, and I had a great time there. The breakfast buffet was good. The rooftop bar had a great view. Quang Dung (restaurant/bar staff) was sooo enthusiastic and helpful!!! And I had the best body massage ever in the spa by Ms. Loan. There were so many vouchers I got with the room as well. Thank you. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Alagon is always a safe and reliable choice for hotel near Bin Thanh. Friendly welcome, fast check-in, nice hotel, great breakfast, quality rooms, toproof swimming pool and sauna are great.

After many stays, still no remarks.

It was ok for 1 night but I wouldn’t stay for longer.

Breakfast was good but a very awkward set up. Not very practical. Room itself was clean.

The pool area was very disappointing. Shower over spa was horrible. Water ended up all over the floor.

Overall quite happy. I believe the issues are easily fixable.

Location is central. Lobby is welcoming. Spa and pool area is cosy. Staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. Each room was given 2 coupons for drinks at the roof top bar - non alcoholic.

The lift doors are dangerous. They do not have sensors to reopen if someone is still boarding or disembarking. The hot water is temperamental. It gets extremely hot and unable to cool down despite pushing it all the way to the cool setting. The buffet layout is sparse and confusing. The staff did not seem interested in ensuring we were guests before entering the buffet area. Anyone could walk in from the street without being checked. The staff at front desk were dismissive when I asked to be checked into the buffet area.

All the amenities were first class. Both my husband and my self loved the breakfast area. The pool and spa were excellent.

My only problem was the shower area.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Room was very comfortable. Great breakfast selection. Loved the pool and rooftop bar. I would definitely stay here again!

I like to sleep with just a sheet on me. Should have probably asked for a top sheet. Only had duvet.

Fabulous service and stay in the middle of it all

The lobby was elegant, the on-site restaurant was convenient and delicious (great salads and breakfasts), breakfast included, assistance booking a Mekong tour, arranged early transport to airport, great rooftop pool and bar and foosball, treadmill in the gym, walking distance to everything we wanted to see
