Anothr excellent stay at Willa Gran

Great size room, excellent breakfast and very lovely host. This is our second stay at this property and both times we have loved our stay, we will definitely be returning. Very close to the ski resort and there is a bus stop a few mins walk which takes you to the Main Street or 20 min walk. Great views from our room too.

A beautiful property.

The location was quiet and beautiful within easy walking distance to restaurants and ski slopes. The breakfast room was cosy and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We are a family of five and booked two apartment rooms and one double room. The apartment rooms are spacious; we had a comfy sofa in our room, large balcony and a stunning view over the mountains.

Clean and beautiful apartments with great view and friendly stuff

very attentive personal, clean accommodations. I liked that the room has fridge, tableware, kettle. There were different types of lightning and great view. Breakfast was normal - there was enough to eat of great quality, but without huge variety.

I didn't like that it was hard to find main dish for pescatarian: eggs and salad had beef inside, there was no fish or any alternative as main dish. Also it would be great to have not only cornflakes, but also muesli.

Very good

The Villa is nice, it is only a few minute ride to Zakopane.

The room window was just above the smokers spot in front of the Villa and was very unpleasant to have to keep closing the window every now and then. There was no sweet pastry such as croissants or pies for breakfast, on Sunday there was only bread. Also we came a bit earlier than the annonced check-in time and the host was not very happy about it.

Big room with nice views.

The hotel was well placed for some slopes, as well as being in a nice quiet area but still with some nice restaurants nearby. The room was pretty big and had nice views. The breakfast was lovely.

I don't know why there was a kettle in the room, as there weren't any other tea or coffee making facilities. It's possibly our fault for just speaking English but the owner wasn't amazingly warm.

Excellent stay, very friendly owner

Very friendly owner. She even let us check out late for free, very accomodating. Good room size. Nice clean room with balcony. Very close to the best ski resort in zakopane. Great breakfast. Warm, comfortable room.

A nice place for the value, with some compromises.

The breakfast was good (especially for the price) and the staff were nice. We really liked the traditional architecture and location of the building. Parking and storing the ski equipment was also easy.

The noise insulation between rooms were non-existent, we could hear people from the adjacent rooms talking, coughing, watching TV, etc. Luckily we were too tired from the skiing so we could sleep either way, but otherwise it would be a major problem.

Great location, the noise from other rooms is really a bother.

Very clean, lovely decor, amazing views and location, very tasty continental breakfast, free WiFi and secure parking.

Flat pillows, wafer thin walls, you could hear any slight noise, even the locks in the neighbouring rooms. Would not recommend for people with small children due to thin walls and lack of facilities. No cots or high chairs available, also the smallest noise was frowned upon and we were constantly given the looks by the owner or other guests who wanted library silence. Balcony door had no lock, which is a major safety issue if you have small kids. The gap between the fence on the balcony was big enough for a two year old to fall through. The toilet seat nearly fell off the wall, broken knobs on the wardrobe and missing one on the chest of draws leaving an exposed nail. People in the room next door watched tv so loud until midnight we could not sleep. Owner/manager seemed very unfriendly and unapproachable. Didn’t bother to speak to us or to check if we were happy or needed anything. Didn’t feel like valued customers at all. Very strange, especially as we come from UK where customer service in hospitality is so much better.

Breakfast is great

Breakfast was great, a little bit of everything, wasn't expecting that much for this price, as for other reviews stating that breakfast isn't good I have a quick answer: 3-4 different type of cheese, 3-4 types of ham, scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs, two different type of salads, cereal, yogurts and more... Just great! I've had much worst breakfasts in 4* hotels.
