It was a bit difficult to find, GPS took us to the wrong location but after writing to Carlos, he waved us in. Property is well taken care of and pretty gardens. The house is very strong and very clean. Common area is comfortable with amazing view. The pool was a nice addition and we had plenty of chairs to relax and swim. Our bathroom was clean and Carlos kindly gave us extra towels for the pool. We did not choose breakfast but he was very kind and gave us coffee which was a nice gift :) His dining area was really pretty and cozy.
Unfortunately I have to report that the beds were very very uncomfortable. I had to put down a pair of jeans and a towel on top of that under my back so I would not feel the hard metal rails as I tried to sleep. Both our daughters' beds had large sag/sinking in the center. We had to find something to prop up the center rails to raise them.
We found it inconvenient that although there was a comfortable upstairs common area, there was really no common sink or kitchen area even for plates or cups. Downstairs by the pool there was a small area with outdoor refrigerator (which was better than nothing for refrigeration but not practical) and a tiny sink but it was not practical for the indoor lodging. His downstairs dining area was beautiful but not offered for use until we were invited for coffee. Thank you again for the coffee!!

Well, we just had to stay 4 days somewhere until we got our long-term apartment, So we just found some random, not expensive place.
We were very surprised, that was like winning the JackPot.
Landlords were so friendly and kind...and they were so real, we felt like they are our lovely relatives. The feeling, like you, have known them the whole life.
There was an awesome place to hold a car. There was a pool for kids. The great yard where our kid played football with kids of other guests.
Every morning, in time, what you asked for, the house owner waiting for you with hot croissants, bread, real coffee, milk, cheese, meat, cake, and other stuff. The kitchen is like a museum...very nice and racy.
Very big shared living room with a stunning view.
The owner gave us some advice on where to take dinner. That was the best local restaurant we have visited in Portugal. Just for 10 euros, we were full (a family of 3 persons) and that was delicious.
The area is very cool, with very beautiful waterfalls, and a nice jogging track along the river.
We definitely fall in love with this place and will be back at a time.

Beautiful and comfortable house. Many thanks to the host Carlos for being so available and for the wonderful breakfast. We asked to change the room (the family room that we reserved had no window) and he gave us another room making an extra little bed for our kid. There is lots of information about the region.
Missing information on the website that the family room has no window.

Swimming pool, parking available, very good shower
No kitchen and the owner was a little suspicious about us, may be not the best place for a family
