Un endroit vraiment très agréable où nous avons prolongé notre séjour de 2 jours.

Le cadre est magnifique, la famille d'accueil est venue nous chercher et nous ramener au ferry, de plus ils sont très sympathiques et serviable et parlent anglais et un peu français. Il nous a proposé une jolie sortie en bateau. Possibilité d'utiliser la piscine du homestay voisin.

Le bruit des chiens et des coqs très tôt le matin. Les karaokes aussi.... Les repas sont très bons, mais on n'en connaît pas le prix avant.

Peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful location. Our hosts were so helpful, organising transfers to and from the ferry and a boat trip to explore the waterways around Vinh Long. Breakfast was excellent, as we're the two evening meals we had (strongly recommend the fried "elephant ear" fish dish). Exactly what we needed after the noise and chaos of Go Chi Minh.

We cannot fault Phuong Thao or our hosts!

it's nearly an amazing place to stay, the host just needs to think about the guests more and react properly when thi

the pool was really dirty, on the second day they lit a fire of garden waste right next to he pool that filled whole respirt with thick smoke so we couldn't use it. there's also nowhere to relax near the pool. and we rented motorbikes and one broke down. it's in the middle of nowhere, so eating at their restaurant is really the only option. decor is great but the food is over priced and some of the worst I've had in Vietnam one of our party got food poisoning on the first night and couldn't get out.of bed for 48 hours. the host didn't care at all, bless his staff who prepared us simple bread and boiled eggs t

Enjoyable Homestay

Friendly staff, reasonable prices. The location was very good, Use of a swimming pool which we would recommend. Food was very nice.

If you have your own transport it can be difficult to find.

if you are looking for a true homestay experience with excellent food and amazing hospitality, this is the place for you

this is a truly wonderful place to stay in the heart of the rural interior of the Mekong Delta. The welcome is amazing, the food delicious. Don’t expect any luxuries but as a place to get away and experience the peaceful way of life of this part of Vietnam, you can’t do better.

Beautiful place

Very nice place with a beautiful garden. Rooms are simple and kind of open-air - I liked that. Could here animal noises in the night, jungle feeling. Tasty and very affordable meals. Luckily could find another guest for the river tour (it takes at least two persons) - enjoyed it a lot. Free transfer from and to the ferry. Owner explained me how to get to Can Tho.

I wish I could explore the surrounding a bit. But the bikes are in poor condition. And for me the biggest problem were the barking dogs everywhere. Returned to the guesthouse very quick ; ) If you're unlucky and you have a guy next door snoring and watching videos you might not sleep that well.

Peaceful spot

The peace and quiet compared to Saigon is nice. The pick up and drop off to the Am Binh ferry are much needed and appreciated. You actually stay at the Mekong Nature Lodge as the one you think you book is under renovation. Good communication from the owner. There are free bikes to use too but be warned the path is very poor and once on a road it can be a bit scary as a cyclist! Beware local dogs that bite too. Hubby got bitten during an afternoon run around the local area. Good air con and bathroom 👍🏻 We could easily arrange a boat trip from there too at a fair price. No guide though so you can make up your own explanations for what you see ha ha.

The bedding was not great, cotton sheets would be much nicer. Hot water is from solar so takes a while to come through and not very hot - ok though. You are a long walk from anywhere else to eat so you end up having to have dinner there - cost is ok. Owner asks what you would like to eat. More vegetables needed in the dishes served would be good. The food is ok. Bikes are in poor condition- lucky for whoever stays next is that y husband fixed 6 of them for you to use :) All up place is a bit unloved after 3 years sitting idle. Grounds need some work as does the swimming pool - no filtration system we could see and needs a dose of chlorine for the algae. Ok for a cool off neck down ;-)

Amazing room in Mekong delta

Beauitful rooms in a nice garden with swimming pool. We got great banana pancakes for breakfast. We could borrow some bikes to explore the island for free, which was a nice way to experience some local life in the Mekong delta.

The bikes could use some service.

Exceptional

One of the highlights of our Vietnam-Trip! We only stayed for one night but we could have easily stayed for longer in this lovely homestay, eating the delicious (and inexpensive!) home-cooked food in the beautiful eating area, overlooking the litte ponds in front of the bungalows and admiring the fruit trees, other plants and animals that have made their home there. The area is perfect to explore with bikes (that you can take for free) and to get a feeling of the astonishing Mekong landscapes by taking little paths through fields of Jackfruit, Banana, Coconut and Papaya trees. The host was very warm and welcoming, and he arranged for 2 motorbike-drivers to take us all the way to a bus station where he also called the bus company to make sure we got a place on the bus to Ha Tien. All in all, a definitve gem of Southern Vietnam!

Relaxing stay at a beautiful location

The owner moved us to the Mekong Nature Homestay (next to Phuong Thao Homestay). This Homestay is quite new: Beautiful location - perfect to discover a part of the Mekong Delta- , very helpful staff, they pick you up with scooters from the ferry (which the kids loved), nice swimming pool.

One of the beds was very hard, the others were fine.

Nice property with gardens by the river. Friendly staff, good food. Great and cleaned shared bathrooms.

We have been traveling in Vietnam for a month now and we found it a bit expensive, that's the most we have paid for a double room (which isn't even ensuite), and it isn't soundproof since the walls don't go up to the ceiling/roof. They have a lot of bicycle that you can take for free but they are in bad shape.
