Breakfast was perfect. Swimming pool and surrounds lovely. Ideal place to go just to relax. Very peaceful and quiet.

This was a total surprise for us. We thought it was going to be a hotel but it was a hidden oasis! I cannot begin to describe how beautiful the landscape and how well appointed the rooms and surroundings are. Miguel is an EXCEPTIONAL host and takes careful note of your needs. I only wish we had more than a day to spend there. OUTSTANDING!!!!!

Nice location

The pool was dirty and could not be used, the add said we could use the kitchen but that was not correct, and we could not bring any food or drink witch if we known in advance we would not have booked

Peace and quiet

Location is amazing, great for a few days of total peace and rest. Breakfast by the pool was really nice and the staff are extremely nice, available and helpful. Will go back for sure and recommend to anyone

Maybe the breakfast could be a buffet type, but nothing else or nothing to complain. Loved it

Brillant!

We loved the place, the location and the people running it. Really easy going and a pleasure to stay at. Marvellous all round!

People should be aware that one of the rooms is meant for children so it may not suit a party of adults, but otherwise there's nothing to fault!.

Very nice place and great breakfast

Wonderful and very quite place! The breakfast was amazing. We used the mountainbikes for free to explore the area. Thanks again Miguel!

Lovely and cosy property with great hosts and beautiful surroundings.

The surroundings are beautiful and quiet and Miguel and Sandra are very welcoming and attentive hosts. The property resembles a family home and is very cosy. There's a lot of activities to choose from (bike riding, donkey feeding, swimming pool, wine tasting tours...) and breakfast was always delicious. Also, meeting all the animals was a nice bonus. I would definitely return!

Fantastic views from Evoramonte castle, very relaxed, beautiful room, great breakfast, lovely donkeys and dogs! Miguel is a great host and gave us fantastic suggestions for places to visit!

Amazing days at Casas de Santa Rita

The property is amazing and has everything that you can wish for. The pool facilities are perfect to relax with an incredible view over the fields of Alentejo. The Donkeys and Sheep’s are curious and always waiting to be cuddled. The property is animal friendly and we were able to bring our dog and she could play with the two cute dogs of the host. The host Miguel is super friendly and gave us amazing tips for local restaurants. The Appartement we stayed in was decorated very tasteful and equipped extra-ordinarily, you had everything available that you could need: from coffee, to books, to spices to cook. We can highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful accommodation to spend some relaxing days.

The perfect retreat

We loved our stay at Casas de Santa Rita. It’s a magical place in the middle of Alentejo. The hosts were amazing, they made us feel at home and were always available to give us tips on what to do and where to eat around the accommodation. The breakfast was great. It was prepared every morning inside a basket left on the terrace of the room. There are a lot of options to eat around if you want to have a full Alentejo gastronomic experience. The pool area is great and you have your own personal space until the end of your stay. This is one of the measures they took for the COVID situation and I think it’s really a good idea. We stayed on the deluxe room and the decoration was spot on and the room size was great. We highly recommend Casas de Santa Rita.
